Winter battery range/ boot liner for dogs

Hi all.
3 day Mach E Extended Range owner, loved the car that was until I drove on a long journey, the given distance for 100% charge was 240 miles, not what I expected, on my final leg I had to drive with no heating and at a speed of 40MPH on the M25, Christ sake it’s a £50000 car, I went to a Ford Dealership and voiced my disgruntlement, they pointed to the Ford Uk website go to Experience Ford and then Winter driving in the All-Electric Mustang Mach-E, very interesting. I have just purchased a Boot protector for my dogs from Ford it is a similar material to the existing Boot mat however it can open up to also cover the rear once the seats are down, underneath the protector is a pull cloth that covers the bumper to stop the dogs scratching it, invoice is below as an image.

Just an FYI as you’re about to get lots of snarky responses - it’s because this exact topic gets posted every day, sometimes multiple times per day, because people refuse to use the search function before posting.

Im not sure what the price of the car has to do with it. A $25k car and a $80k car will both not get full range on the cold. You can be mad at the EU ratings though. They are completely unrealistic in their testing figures.

The sad part is they are rated by the European method 370 miles on the Other side of the pond, so winter is like a 55% loss, assuming 170 Winter miles…..…lol.
