There was, except I think it was 2023 models, and the conclusion was - inconclusive. At least so far it is not clear that there is any difference.

There was also a thread commenting that the '24 Rally edition has the smoothest ride of all Mach-E Mustangs to date. But not clear yet how much better it may be, on the road and off.
New shocks were put on 2022.5 models and later.

Rally is a big improvement because of the MagnaRide shocks if you like a softer ride.

...and possibly the ride height of the Rally. I noticed that those who raised the ride with Eibach commented how much better they thought the ride was. I would think the opposite because of the batteries, but I am no engineer.

plus the 30K mile difference in tires, would make quite a bit of difference.

I have the AWD EX model, early 2022. I sprang for the KW coilovers and also for Eibach sway bars. Haven't looked back since and that was almost 60K miles ago...

With shocks and related stuff, you really do get what you pay for... just like on most motorcycles, OEM car manufacturers are notorious for skimping on "builder-specials" shocks etc.

If I were planning on keeping this car indefinitely, I'd likely do the same.

Somewhere between 100 and 150k mile I will be done with it so I don't think it's worth the expense for me.

I appreciate all the input but I think I'll just go with stock replacement and be happy

Loaner was standard range premium with 900 miles. Mine is extended range premium with 85900 miles, tires have 30k on them
This is the problem with driving a new car before you are ready to upgrade ;-)
The ride would be different just due to the HVB weight difference between the ER and SR so it isn't apples to apples. That said, it might be a combination of the lighter car and newer suspension tuning that gave it the better feel.
I have an early '22 ER and find it rides a bit hard as well.
