We are looking for a really good cooler (Yeti like) for the frunk in our '24 MME GT. We have measured it as 26"W x 9"D x 11" H. Any ideas.

Also, we became the proud owners of our MME on July 6th, and have charged it at home twice. Both were 100% charges, and they each time topped out and stayed at 299 miles. I thought ours should be 280 miles, so what do you all think?

Thanks for your time!!

If you've only had it since July 6th, the system hasn't really had enough time to properly guess at your range. It'll get more accurate as you drive.

And there are a bunch of posts about frunk coolers. Just try searching for them.

It's going to be really hard to find any coolers to fit that measurement. The depth is probably the biggest issue. If you search for 'slim cooler' you might get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lanedo-Collapsible-Soft-Sided-Leak-Proof-Multi-Person/dp/B0BC1HZFRC/
A similar idea is this: https://www.rei.com/product/204535/rei-co-op-pack-away-24-soft-cooler

Two of these will fit side by side in the frunk. H/T to @21st Century Pony who drove/camped across the country in his MME with these in his frunk.

The GT has that toasty motor in the front. We fill our frunk with ice (and water) for car show tricks, but it only lasts as long as the show. Our most typical use for the frunk is warm fast food. (I have teenagers…)

Rubbermaid make an interesting cooler / dimensions but doesn’t seem to be in stock just now. SlimCooler: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/326118810121

Please read some posts about the GOM (guess o meter).

And contrast with your ice cars. You weren't as concerned about range in those cars, so you probably didn't notice.

I fired up my honda yesterday. It said i was getting 11mpg, and had 430 miles of range, on a 14 gal tank, compared to the epa range of 375.

Expect the guesses to be different from your epa range.

Have not found one yeti.?. I have seen a company that makes one for Tesla Frunks. Maybe at some point they will do a Mach e version.

Yeti s are damn expensive, so are Dometec... but there are LOTS of choices and sizes. Look around in the RV world, or reviews... even Car&driver reviewed:

There is a brand that doesn't seem to get reviewed, but is pretty good at

If you really want to cheap out, try two Aldi refrigerated bags - the ones with the zipper around the top. They fit nicely in the frunk. I think they are $8 or so apiece.

and... ambient air temp, or hotter from coolant/heater lines, flowing all around and under when you are moving. I would either put the cooler in the rear cargo area, or make a 'soft' insulated bag, or get several insulated shopping bags and use ice blocks on the bottom of bags.
