I always select Navigation, but I have not mastered the bottom bar yet as I would like it to default Left to right as MILES PER KW. RADIO. HOME. PHONE.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

The bottom row of tiles shows the apps you used most recently from left to right. You can't make it show Home since that's not treated like an app, and since home is always one tap away (top left corner).

Also, you can't fix the order permanently. But you can temporarily see what you want by bringing them up in this order: phone, radio, trip, navigation.

The multi screen in CarPlay for navigation, music unless I’m getting Sirious, and the info screen. Just so I can push open garage when I get home on the screen.

Having a garage button and voice commands on the phone and gps based automation simply isn’t enough.

Radio screen, map screen, mobile phone screen, etcetera...

Yep. As @macchiaz-o said, the tiles are in the order of most recently used (think of it as your "recent files" folder). I sometimes re-order them "just because." Home is always available at the top left of the screen and if you use CarPlay or Android Auto, their button will also be at the top of the screen, to the right of the other three fixed buttons. ??

Driving to or from work: calm screen. No radio. Just enjoying the silence of not being around people. It’s meditative for me.

Short drive: CarPlay with the Libby app playing my current audiobook from my local library.

Long drive: CarPlay with Google maps so I can see my distance to destination. Then compare that to my GOM range. Subtract range from distance to get estimated range leftover upon arrival. Repeat every 3-5 minutes. Is my extra range falling faster than my distance to destination? Maybe I should slow down a little.
