⏱ No Mach-E Scheduling Next Week (2/7)

This makes sense. I was informed 2 days ago my mach e was built and would be delivered in 28 days. Then today I was informed by the dealer it will now be delivered 3 months later than what ford stated when I placed the order. I ordered it last September. That will make it 9 months from order to delivery. My fist born son was delivered sooner than that. I think ford has stopped delivery to make production improvements at the expense of on tine deliveries to their customers

Bummer. It's nice they post the scheduling updates, but do they ever say why there is no scheduling?

FWIW I was just scheduled today for the week of 4/4. Ordered RWD Select on 1/10/22.
No email confirmation yet but did happen to receive a generic Ford Marketing email on the Mach-E for the first time today. Not sure if that was a coincidence.
Not that I expect this date to stick but given the plant closure and "no scheduling" this week, I'm still pleasantly surprised!

Got comfort/tech package as well (+ interior protection package and rapid red metallic, not that that those are likely to matter much)
I'm banking on it getting pushed back but it feels good to have an initial date at least. Hopefully a good sign for everybody on a chip hold as well. Why else would they schedule anybody at all during a plant closure/no scheduling week?

I’m so happy for everyone who is getting scheduled quickly. It’s just such a gut punch to see people who ordered 3 weeks ago getting scheduled and theres people who ordered 3-6 months ago that are still waiting on a production date.
The logical part of my brain says it has more to do with component availability and the random ball draw of Ford scheduling, but this is where Ford drops the ball on communication. It’s frustrating to wait and wait and not get any answers as to why it’s taking so long when it’s almost instant for others.
I bought one off a lot this week. I will keep my order and make a decision when it arrives.
