Our first ever Ford Mustang Mach-E visited our XPEL install shop in Austin, TX.

We were able to recorded the vehicle's dimensions, so now we can print exact measurements of film with our DAP system to fully wrap, or wrap individual panels, on Mustang Mach-E in any of our paint protection film, at any of our certified XPEL install locations.

The owner of this Mach-E opted for our ULTIMATE PLUS paint protection film and wanted the entire car wrapped to protect against paint damage from rock chips, scratch marks and dead bugs. You can't even tell it's wearing a wrap! Another satisfied customer!

Thank you for posting this. I've been reading about these types of wraps with interest, as I plan towards my getting a Mustang Mach-E, but I'm *not* planning on purchasing; I'll likely go with the Ford Options (lease-like) plan, so I'd have to return my MME at the end of the period.

Are wraps like yours removable? Easily? Without doing more damage to the finish than might have happened without a wrap in the first place? I can absolutely imagine doing this to help protect the finish, since I would have to return it in good shape, but I wouldn't want to make matters worse.

Thanks. {Jonathan}

Normal wear and tear is allowed for in lease/Options contracts. The high cost of PPF is much more than you would pay for even fairly extensive touch ups if they were needed prior to returning the vehicle.

Yeah you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to protect the paint of a car that you’re returning in three years just wash it occasionally lmao.

Wish that was my MME, my local PPF XPEL dealer did not do such a great job and I am waiting for two months now for them to fix the issues. Lots of contaminates and poor stretching in spots or lifting. Message me if you want pictures and or more details.

Detailer was recommend by my Ford dealer service director.

Moral of the story, make sure to vet out the installer really well. I took the dealers service director word for it.

Here are some pictures of what can go wrong. I was keeping this quiet not to deter folks, but I am really tired of chasing my PPF dealer to fix things. Dealer keeps saying soon soon soon soon etc.
Today seeing the XPEL dealer post a pristine XPEL RR FE really put me over the edge.

My MME was done the middle of March and now we are in the middle of May. Detailer also originally had my MME for two weeks to do the work.

There are more spots but you folks get the idea.

Am I crazy?

Im usually a very patient person, issue is my plate has to stay off until the front is fixed. There are three holes right now that I have to look at daily.

This was as of yesterday, so far no follow up.

@machefan, Though IB is more my style, I really love the look of the Rapid Red First Edition. So sad to see this on such a beautiful vehicle. I hope you are able to get this fixed.

Lucky for me it's just a plastic film and not something permeant. It's just really expensive and I didn't get what I expected. I love IB too, if it was offered for the FE I would have gone with that color.

Thanks!

Looks awesome. We were trying to schedule ours to get wrapped here in Denver (and to make a video about it). Unfortunately, we got rear ended before we got on the schedule. But as soon as we get it back, I want to get some XPEL PPF on it.

Somehow I think if I wanted PPF I'd just do a full out colored wrap for the same price. I mean why be stuck with only 1 color for that price. Then when the film gets nasty in a couple years you could remove and enjoy the factory color and/or sell with near new paint. Clear PPF is nice but it costs just as much money unless you're only doing the front surfaces etc. I really liked that green one someone previously posted!

Mason at XPEL install shop in Austin, TX did a great job. And it looks great today. It gets lots of compliments in parking lots about how shiny it is. My wife (who confiscated it from me) gets asked constantly about it. People keep asking if it is a hybrid.

Notice the lack of front license plate holder is because I bought in Arkansas where they don't require it. And thanks to ChasingCoral it now has a Craig’s license plate mount (http://ccmustangbrackets.com/product/2021-mustang-mach-e/) that doesn't mess up the front.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I thought a full-color wrap is vinyl, which is different than PPF. I don't believe it lasts as long. I'm sure someone else knows more about the differences.

I had a "front bra" XPEL put on my MME - it looks fantastic and has a 10-year warranty.

I have had your film on a couple cars now and I must say it holds up very well. A friend of mine just got his new 992 coated with Suntek Reaction and the ceramic like water beading properties of the film is pretty amazing. Do you have a product like that coming anytime soon?

Awesome! Mine has XPEL Ultimate plus on the entire front bumper, headlights, and mirrors. I skipped the hood and fenders, but I sorta wish I had them covered, too. Couple tiny rock chips on them.
It looks completely invisible. No complaints.
