Thanks for the video. Answers many questions I had about this.. all in all, it appears more like adaptive cruise that many others have had some years, and a far-cry from 'autonomous driving'. It would be good to see how it manages with navigation.

It does not care for navigation

Interesting.. so if you have given a destination which GPS is tracking, and if you are in blue cruise, does it take the turns as needed? Or it is completely oblivious to navigation?

Blue cruise is hands free adaptive cruise with active lane centering. It does not take navigation into account.

It is not self driving.

Only a hands free adaptive cruise. Like shown in the video as soon you enter the signal light it is off

Thanks for the confirmation. This is more like Apple fans getting excited about the features introduced in their phones, while others may have the same features for years! ;-)

The more I see this the more I realize I don't want it. I really want true self-driving. Taking my eyes off to look around for a few seconds triggers the safety system. I might as well be driving. Unless I'm missing something. I'm not even asking for turn-by-turn navigation from point A to point B. If I'm just going straight on a highway/freeway, the system should be able to drive without my constant attention. If it can't do that, I might as well be in full control.

Am I wrong here with this thinking?

I totally agree with you. I also don't get how people pay for the subcription...

That is a good video. I like the quality of your dashcam. Which one do you use?

Thank you for the compliments.

I installed this one a while ago. check the description for product links.
Thanks, I did not click going to YouTube so I missed the links. I plan on buying some of the AOSK items anyways. I will remember to click on your links.
