Based on the post from Ford, my guess is the updates are just info on the 2026 models

Oh big updates are planned? My bet there will be a OTA update to a module that prepares the module for future updates that will make updating the module easier to update, in the future.@Ford Motor Company Mentioned that there are more details to be shared this week, alongside the launch of the new app, in the Fordpass 6.0 update thread.
This seems to follow information from @Mathington received earlier this year stating a decent OTA should be landing shortly.
Seems exciting, wish ford would tease there software development more. Regardless, what are people's speculation or hopes!?
To be extremely underwhelmed…@Ford Motor Company Mentioned that there are more details to be shared this week, alongside the launch of the new app, in the Fordpass 6.0 update thread.

Except 21-24 already do lane changes, and notify when a lane change is possible. The BC hardware limitations make's sense to me,
Always have to mash the button 5-10 times to get the door or trunk to open. Define "great".PaaK works great. 2 1/2 years with only minor issues. FP (or just Ford now) recently added climate control after you turn on climate remotely. That’s something I really appreciate. There is usually a good reason when some feature is removed and not brought back.
Considering that they removed the L in the 2025 models when they switched to the lever shifter, I wouldn’t bet on this one. Some kind of update schedule that adds features without breaking older models, aka something between Tesla and well, nothing basically, would be nice. I for one would really like both manual battery pre-conditioning, and remembering your choice of the oddly named “L” setting in the gear shifter, since I want more regen every drive, with “L” giving me that, but not only is that forgotten when I stop and restart the car, it’s even forgotten when I switch to reverse and back to drive after maybe a 3-point turn or something. Frankly, not remembering your regen settings is a bit dangerous, because you end up thinking or expecting to be in full regen, only to find that because you did a 3-point turn, it’s now turned off.
Never had an issue with PAAK- love it.I wouldn’t get my hopes up, Ford never seems to be innovative or add most of the things we have all asked for. This latest app update was bullshit, changed look of the app 3 times now and still have not added anything back what they took away when first bought the car. Zero progress I feel . Nevermind that PAAK still works like shit.
Zero issues with PAAKAlways have to mash the button 5-10 times to get the door or trunk to open. Define "great".
It looks like you win the prize, the announcement is the start of the 2026 models.Based on the post from Ford, my guess is the updates are just info on the 2026 models
Mashing may be the problem. I haven’t had to push the button more than twice in 4 years.Always have to mash the button 5-10 times to get the door or trunk to open. Define "great".
While it’s not 5, it is, and I repeat, ALLWAYS 2 or 3 presses before the door opens. Been like that since day one, regardless if I have PaaK, keyfob or both at me. Not a biggie, just annoying.Always have to mash the button 5-10 times to get the door or trunk to open. Define "great".
There's a big silver manual pre-conditioning button on the dash, just to the right of the wheel. What more could you possibly want?If it ain’t the manual preconditioning button I don’t care what it is![]()
I love that we "defend" this behavior - like having to do the same thing twice to get it to work, or that functionality success depends on how hard you push the buttons is alright.Mashing may be the problem. I haven’t had to push the button more than twice in 4 years.
Dude, I’m relating my experience only, not yours. Masing a button 5 to 10 times in quick sucession doesn't make anything work better. The problem with PAAK challenged ownerts is those with issues get defensive when others don’t have the same experience.I love that we "defend" this behavior - like having to do the same thing twice to get it to work, or that functionality success depends on how hard you push the buttons is alright.
As for the 2 button pushes - I think the worst part is when the first press unfolds the mirrors but doesn't pop the door so the car actually recognized that the button was pressed and still half-assed it.
