Correct. And I fully expect that to be the case with the MME once it’s added. Though, I think I’ll just use the button on the door pillar to pop the frunk so I don’t have to dig my phone out of my pocket.

How mad are people here going to be when new MME’s start shipping with a frunk button on their fob? Can’t wait for that discussion.

At that point they can move on to being mad about how difficult it is to close the hood. Or how it makes their fingers dirty. Or how the new cars don't have dividers.

2. The model 3 doesn’t have a secondary manual latch. (Perhaps it has a secondary latch and both are released by the app - I don’t know?)

There are two ways to open the front trunk on a Tesla: pressing a button in the app, or pressing a button on the touch screen. There is no physical lever or button inside the car

(this is all ignoring the emergency release button inside the trunk)

Yeah... that's a long time for such a basic feature update. Plus all the TSBs that have been posted on here that require in-dealer updates... not giving me a lot of confidence they're really going to support us existing customers.

As much as I want to see new features added and I have lots of ideas to share, I feel good that Ford does not have so many bugs that they need to release 6 updates in the first 4 months. I am a week in since taking delivery and I am astonished with the build quality. 3 friends that have Tesla's and I was able to spot manufacturing defects or computer bugs within the first 5 minutes of sitting inside.

My recollection is that one of the SSMs stated there would be an OTA in May to correct the concern. I don't remember which one.

When I get my first update I will be thankful just to know I got one in my FE. My premium did get one.
