Surprisingly even a few paint colors & interior colors still take some back and forth to decide. ?
The old model T was easier...can have any color you want as long as its black.

Actually for me there was only one color for the FE that jumped out.
And once you choose Grabber Blue there is no interior choice --- it will be Black Onyx with Grabber Blue Stitching.

weren't regular carpet mats included? I would expect these to be the all weather rubber mats, and I like third party ones better.

Since it's called the "Interior Protection Package" I would imagine they're all-weather rubber mats. I'll personally be adding it since I'll hopefully be taking delivery in/around Winter and custom aftermarket mats probably won't be available by then.

Yep. In fact I'd rather they kept the ones that come with a new car and knock a few bucks off. Mine always sit on a shelf in the garage until I finally just throw them out. For around 100 bucks I can usually find something much better (like Aries XD floor liners).

The actual sales transaction is with the dealer, NOT FORD. So, while you can order the car through Ford's website and it will tell you MSRP for the car you ordered, ultimately it is the dealer who transacts the sale to you. It's no different than when the dealer adds another sticker to the car window listing all the expensive things they've added to the price of the car.

Well, no, I have to disagree. It is a little different. When you go to a lot and purchase a car off the lot, there is a sticker with the sales price on it. Yes, it may have had ADM etc. added to it, but you at least get the see the price.

In this situation, we are committing to an order (with a potential non-refundable deposit), so we need to see the "final price" before clicking that button.

Summary is,
A car that I order with a "bottom line price" shown on the screen that then arrives and a dealer tries to add more things is completely different than arriving to a lot with a car already there with already-added ADM.
