I give it thumbs up after enjoying my MMe for 4 months now in the hot south. You might think it would transmit a lot of sunlight and heat into the car, but that is not the case. It does open things up a bit and the comments I get are all positive.

Don’t ask why a 51 year old man knows this… but, it’s easier to get shoe marks off the glass roof than the headliner. ???
I'm going to ask my wife if we can try this......

I liked it in the pictures and in person, but due to location I never enjoy it as the driver. If it saved me $1k or more I would have not got it.

I live in DFW TX and got my MME a week ago. I don't intrinsically know the pano roof is there typically (it's out of might sightline for the most part), but I definitely notice there's more headroom, light, and a general open/airy feel. The tint is enough to tone down the Texas summer sun sufficiently, and I don't notice heat radiating from the glass. It's cool to the touch when driving at speed and warms up when sitting a while, but I have to literally touch it to feel significant heat. But I've had solid roofs in my cars here that were just as bad.

To me it's worth it, it makes the car's interior feel a lot airier and roomy than I expected, coming from a full-size SUV to a crossover.

The only downside is that we periodically get hail storms here and it's a big target. I don't know how well it would fare in a major hailstorm, but considering the stoutness of the glass I suspect the entire car will have been beaten to hell anyway, along with the front and rear glass.

I do love if I'm stopping off somewhere for a quick charge I can lean my seat back and watch the clouds.

For those of us who are folically challenged and either don't have or never uncover the sun roof it would be great to be able to not have it....may have to settle for a GT;)

Sometimes I like to ride in the back seat while my Wife is driving! It feels like you are in a different world! Maybe I just like being chauffeured? Lol
You don't make your wife wear a cheauffer's uniform while she's driving, I hope... ?

I dont have mine yet. But my car is my "office" at least some of the time, as I often sit in the back seat with a laptop to work. I'm very much looking forward to having the pano for that, I expect it'll really help with that cooped-up feeling of working from inside a car.

Driving = eyes on the road, not the sky
If it opened, I would not have it
Sky lights, never (days of yore, framing, etc.)
GREAT for back seat drivers - distracts them so yo can DRIVE!
ENJOY the ride and drive!
My passengers love it. In fact my wife sometimes rides in the back with her paisano in order to enjoy the view up the hill.
Chauffer me.
