I just returned from a 3 weeks vacation away from home and had left the MME in the garage while I was gone. Unplugged

And before you ask why I didn't take the MME on vacation, it's simply because it cannot tow an 8k lbs travel trailer ?

Left with a 54% charge, came back to a 53% charge... Happy with the loss during those 3weeks!

Another nice thing I'm happy about is the dessicant dehumidifier that I bought for my garage. My garage was always damp to a point of growing mold in some areas, but this time I came back to a 40% relative humidity, no mold, no smell and brake discs that have absolutely no surface rust!!!

When we left for two weeks I set it to charge to 70% and left it plugged in.

(Of course our son took it for a spin a few times as well...LOL)

Same thing: Can't tow the Mach-E behind the RV.

Oh no I'm my case it's that the MME cannot tow the 8k lbs RV ..lol
Yeah either way the Mach-E wasn't designed with RV'ers in mind ;)

(Unless I fork out the $$$ for an aluminum car trailer LOL even then its too heavy by itself for our RV)

Did your cars get their updates while you were gone?

I doubt it did, because it went into "sleep mode" (couldn't access it via FordPass).

But as soon as I got home I guess the updates were in the queue waiting for the car to reconnect! I'll have to check it out to see if I got them

Should have towed the RV with the MachE.

Good to know. Mine will sit for weeks at a time when traveling as well. I assume you left unplugged? Our ICE vehicles are all on battery tenders when we're away. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to plug them in and limit the charge to 50% or just let it sit unplugged at ~50% charge.

Left it unplugged... if I had left for longer I would have plugged it...but seeing it only lost 1% over 3 full weeks, I wouldn't mind leaving in unplugged longer!

Need to point out that it was in a garage... not outside in the heat!!

So it seems like they can just sit unplugged if indoors. The garage won't get above 90*F in the summer but could be 20-30*ish F when it's subzero outside in the depths of winter. That's also likely a time I won't be around to drive it ?

That's something to test next winter... I'm happy my garage is heated at about 8C

I've left my FE outside and unplugged. with some temps below freezing, for 6 weeks with only a few percent drain on the big battery. The 12v battery stayed fully charged.

I think a red tricycle has the same tow rating as the Mach-e...
Nope. We know a red trike can't tow much but the manufacturer doesn't say we can't.
We know the Mach E has most everything it needs (except hitch and wiring) to tow but the manufacturer says we can't.

Any problems getting into the car and starting it with the FOB after it’s been in “deep sleep”?

I have a business trip coming up and might have to keep mine in long term parking (covered garage) for 2 weeks.
