Ordered 7/15/20 still not delivered

Has anyone else experienced a delay this long? My parents ordered their Mach-E over a year ago (7/15/20), build was complete 2/24/21 but they still don’t have it. At this point my parents are worried the car they eventually receive will be a lemon.
Thanks to the suggestion of another user I messaged Mike Levine on Twitter and he got back to me quickly to let me know he’s looking into it.
Has anyone else waited this long?

It’s changed SEVERAL times. Right now it says “estimated to be delivered in 3 days” The most recent delivery date they were given was 8/20/21. But like all of the other dates they’ve been given it’s come and gone. No car.

Does the tracking information show a shipment date? Have you checked the status in palsapp?

We’ve contacted the dealer many many times. They can’t figure out why it’s not here either.

I’m glad others think it’s nuts as well. We’ve contacted the dealer several times. They currently say it’s in Delaware and been removed from shipment.

Hmm. It's hard to imagine it taking six months for delivery. Since you are able to track it, I assume you have the VIN number.

Would you mind posting what you see when you enter the VIN in the forum tracker:

You can cut out the VIN or other information to maintain your privacy.

For the latter tracker, the order number is the four digit ID number that you see displayed in the first tracker.

We’ve contacted the dealer many many times. They can’t figure out why it’s not here either.

OK. Having them engaged is key since it's a sale they are not getting so they want the car to arrive too.

The MME is rail shipped from the plant in Mexico, and if I recall correctly the trantit time to me here in Arizona was about 3 months. I assume the time to your location will be longer since you are farther north and east, so Feb to September does seem a bit long but not super outrageous to me. I now that's not the same as waiting for your new car when every day feels like a week; just trying to add some perspective.
