$1500 order deposit applied to purchase or refunded outside of contract?.

What’s been everyone’s experience here? Finalizing my GTPE purchase and my dealer says the $1500 I gave them will be refunded back to my credit card. But my order info on the Ford web site says the deposit would be applied to the purchase. It’s not currently showing up on the my purchase contract. I guess I need to get this in writing before I sign.

The dealer needs to apply this to your down payments on the purchase contract, or they need to give you a check for the $1,500.

They ended up doing as they said - just got my $1500 refunded back to my credit card.
