My GT is at the detailers for ceramic coating. I just got a message thru Ford Pass. “12v battery fault. Service vehicle soon”. just picked it up on Friday and less than 200 miles. Is there a concern for immediate failure? Suggestions on next steps?

I wonder if they inadvertently left it in accessory mode and it drained the LVB??

Yep.
Call them and ask that they start the car please.

You could be right. I will call them in the morning.

I was able to start the car using Ford Pass. I will let it run and it will shut itself off in 15 minutes. Is that long enough for the HVB to charge the LVB?

The fact that it started is a positive sign. 15 minutes isn't going to fully charge the LVB but it helps. Take it for a nice drive when they're done with it then plug it in when you get home. Monitor for future fault messages.

Did this fault happen again or was it just that one time? It just popped up for me when I started the car this morning. It still started fine and doesn't seem to have any issues, so I'm hoping it was just an anomaly that I won't see again.

Interesting! I'm out of town, so decided to drop my Mach-E by a detailing shop so they can ceramic coat it while I'm gone. I got a pop up saying the same thing as y'all--12v battery fault, service soon. When I googled, aside from 12v battery issues of early Mach-E's back in April, I was surprised to find two separate threads on this forum and both happened while the car was having that done! I wonder if there is any part of the detailing process that would cause this issue. I'm going to reach out to my detailing guy and see if he has noticed anything unusual about it.

No, 15 minutes is not enough to charge the battery. Ideally, put it on your home charger and it will charge it. Or, drive it a nice distance, over 30 minutes. Or, put it on a trickle charger (make the dealer do it) so that it's back to normal levels.

Mine needed to be charged manually. I'm thinking they are getting installed with less than a full charge and draining some on the trip from Mexico....

Just following up... My guy let me know that he just now checked and it started up just fine. Will keep an eye on it but hopefully it's just a fluke.
