Yes, the calm screen is new for 1.7.1, from what I understand. Weird that you only got part of it.

I'm not sure if the calm screen is part of 1.7.1 or a Sync4 update. I got 1.7.1 yesterday and noticed Sync4 was updated today. The calm screen works when pressing volume button in now.

I have got to say the 1.7.1 is quite an improvement. The system is much more responsive and has no Android Auto issues.

Marlin was updated to 1.7.1 tonight. First he said his software was up to date but didn’t give an updated number (~7:00 pm). Then he said he he update 1.7.1 but notes weren’t showing up (~8:30). Then I received a message in Ford Pass the update was installed and note Notes are there.

Lots of choices, pick one or many:

• Replace the vehicle
• Death metal
• Restart SYNC by holding the steering wheel buttons for volume down + next track for several seconds
• Touch the screen
• Navigate through McDonald's drive-thru in reverse
• Marriage
• Kids
• Spray paint

Tap anywhere on the screen. Seems weird that pushing the knob in again doesn't work to turn off calm screen.

That was the first thing that I tried, it did not work. Turning the car off and back on did not work, it would go back to calm mode within seconds. Now this morning when I start it, calm mode is off, and now I can turn it on and off without issue. weird....

Looked at FordPass tonight and saw a red “1” notification. Got excited, thinking maybe I got 1.7.1. Nope, just an alert about the windshield recall…third dealer trip in 3 months coming up.

My GT was delivered to my dealer today. Looks like tomorrow I'll be swapping my FE for the GT.

But, in doing so I added the GT to my fordpass and got the pop-up to setup my profile. I can confirm that during the profile setup you do get to choose radio presets. Including AM and FM.

After 1.7.1 looks like app catalog has no apps? Says no apps in your region. It’s missing from ford pass as well. I never tried it but pretty sure that menu was in ford pass before this update. May be I am confused.

It's gone from my FordPass app ever since the major layout change that they recently introduced.

But I wouldn't say I'm "missing" any of these:
