I’m wondering if there was like a line of code that only took effect today and it wasn’t actually an update that got pushed out. If it was an update, I guess it’s good to know my vehicle actually can get them lol.

Tagging @benk016 to see if they know if this is a symptom of an update in progress. Weird that multiple people are experiencing it this morning.

I just checked my car and it has the same issue. My GT has newer software than 1.7.1 so its not related to that update.

My guess is that SXM sent an update that is causing some issues with the radio App in the MME so likely ALL MME's will be affected by this.

Interesting that SXM can update stuff other than station art and channel numbers on its own. Thanks for chiming in!

That's pretty much what the updates are. But that update may have included something that the app in the car is having trouble processing.

SXM updates happen pretty often. I've seen them happen daily for a few days as channels change around and free previews get turned on and off.

Experienced this for the very first time today. The radio lost all of my SiriusXM presets and wouldn’t change the channel, using both the touchscreen and steering wheel controls. After a long delay (prob something like 2 min), the channel would finally change.

I have same issue, just drove the car after a week of it sitting. Whats interesting is AM/FM presets work perfectly fine. Just the Sat. presets. Tried a reboot, presets came up in correct order but I haven't tried it since its in the garage. Good news is if they their programmers can download and break it then they can download and fix it.

SXM is working fine in my car with the saved presets functioning normally using either the channel switch on the steering wheel or the touch screen, both before (yesterday) and after (today) receiving 1.7.1

Hopefully Ford has a good dogfood program and an employee will bring it up. Not sure how else to bring this to someone’s attention.

Mine was totally fine yesterday, having the issue as of this morning. Have the latest software from the factory, no OTAs for me yet. Shipped 9/27.

It started for me last night - and gradually. I couldn't bring up the channel list to add new channels.
Today it's completely hosed like every one has said.

I think it's an Sirius initiated change that just didn't jibe with our cars. Hopefully they fix it on their end.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a 360 radio only issue (i.e. the particular feature set we have)... I should have checked my Dad's Bronco Sport while I was there but didn't think about it and he doesn't use xm much.

Does it even on Sync v176..(GT) It's just a slow booting computer, you have to let it settle down unfortunately. I look forward to the day when car computers are as fast as smartphones at least.

anyway, it's not 1.71 or 1.76, or any ver sync. I think it's a network com problem with sirius, as it was more or less fine (but slow boot up) a couple days ago.
