Yep. Exactly the same if the specs on the website updated in May are correct. 63.9 for the AWD, 64.0 for the RWD. Gotta scroll down and click to expand "Compare Model Specs"...

https://www.ford.com/suvs/mach-e/2021/

But the PDF page that's been out since Nov still says 63.

https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...-2/pdf/seo-pdfs/Mustang-Mach-E-Tech-Specs.pdf
So my AWD Rapid Red Mach-E will be about the same height as my Ruby Red C-Max next to my wife's Magnetic 2020 Explorer for a height reference.

Interesting, nobody considers that thing an SUV and yet this will be the same height and probably have similar ground clearance.
Yep. That's why I kinda roll my eyes when Ford calls the Mach-e an "SUV". Um, no. It's a crossover shape, and a rather low one at that. With quite low ground clearance.

But that's part of the compromise between a Mustang sports car an SUV. I'd prefer a few more inches of height and ground clearance, but this should be close enough. And everything else about it looks well worth that modest compromise.

And looking at some other new crossovers, it could be a lot worse. Some of them have gotten really short.

They have said they are making a crossover Fusion -- not an SUV Fusion. I'd love to see their flowchart that determines what about the car determines SUV vs crossover.

Traditionally, a crossover SUV is an SUV with unibody construction like regular 'cars', rather than truck-like suspensions and construction. What it means these days .. i don't really know.

Crossovers are more comfortable. And sportier. But less utility. :p

Used to be more comfortable, as SUVs used to be more truck-like. But it's getting to where they're putting a lot of comfort in the interior of many SUVs these days too, and even in many trucks.

And for my tastes, taller height is part of comfort, as I find it uncomfortable to crawl down into and up out of a low vehicle like a sedan. But that depends a lot on how tall you are. Shorter people probably find tall SUVs more of a chore to get in/out of.

I wonder if the Mustang purists would accept the MME if Ford referred to it as a 4 door fastback instead of and SUV. . .hmmm?
Nah, who cares what they think. Haters gonna hate.

The low ground clearance is what bothers me the most - I find it hard to get in and out of regular sedans as well as leg positions while driving, prefer the additional height of an SUV; i have a regular sedan in the family and its underside hits the road surface a few times due to dips in the road and I worry about the damage. With the Mach E I may still have to deal with underside hitting the road surface sometimes but hoping that the seating position is better than in a sedan.

I'm 6' 1". I like tall in general. My wife is 5'7', she leaps up into her Raptor. The MME will be fine I think.

And yeah, the definition of "crossover" has gone beyond blurred since it was first coined as a term.

Should be better than a sedan, at least. Even though it has low ground clearance, it has the thick frame (holding the batteries) that raises the floor. The better estimate of seating height comes from the top-down instead of ground-clearance up. By my estimates, it should sit 1-2" lower than our 2013 Escape. If so, that should be good enough. Taller would be better but at least it shouldn't be like an Accord or something.
