This seems to be the case with all the reservations. I got confirmation on 11/17 just before 10pm EST and it shows 11/18 as the order date.
Figures. They made a strange system even stranger

Yes. I was quoting the time I received the email. Not what it said on the date.

Probably close enough that it will be the delivery process that determines who gets theirs first, not the production order.

Ohio vs Maryland. Hard to say. Have to check those train routes. ?
Also depends on who fills a train car first. Each holds 12-22 Mustangs.

Interesting.. 9:55 too, I don't remember when I submitted my reservation but the email confirmation got sent the same time, maybe it was a batch process.

Does this call for an updated spreadsheet on anticipated delivery? With all this new info, I'm not sure if it's more or less likely I'll see an end of year delivery with reservation #10013432 (Premium). So confusing.
When did you reserve (more important then number imo)
sorry...Reserved on Nov 19th
Complete guess here, but I'd say late January.
I'll say most likely in December. See my latest v5 guesstimate -- just posted.

OK a lot of new info so here we go.
Hey Rob
ford announced today they are taking more first edition orders . Did not enough reservations become orders aka people backed out, or they have extra parts to make more first editions. Kinda took people by shock on ford twitter page.

Sounds like they recognized consumer demand and increased supply
They’ll sell out in 5 minutes when it happens. Promise
Robert

Was wondering if the had the extra parts
You know how its different supplied parts now with just in time order.

As for backing out, I doubt it because First Edition buyers (myself included) wouldn’t give it up .I just asked trim department manger and he said they have extra parts. So a certain amount more to build, but he doesn't know exact amount.

It doesn’t have that many different parts... the scuff plates are First Edition unique and seats, petals, like 4 things.
Red brake calipers
First Editions are super attractive because they’ll ship first, also more expensive but for an electric SUV people will pay

You dont start making the demo models to end of september right?

I mean marketing cars are already going out by the dozens
J1 is 9/28
The cars that were going to be used for SEMA need a home now too probably marketing people

So the ones built on job 1 day they are ones sent to sale just wait for ok to ship?

yes correct
Dealers will come up big here
Mine better put ice and a bottle in the frunk
Waited over a year by the time I get mine and A-plan pricing is nothing

Ok to buy
November 23rd
Their record for one shift off the Final line is like 20
So don’t hold your breath but maybe

20 a hour
400 a day maybe?

20 per shift

20 per shift dear lord

I’ve seen it take all day for 4 cars to move halfway down trim 1
That’s 12 stations in one shift

Wow

It’s launch though so just gotta make them right

Super slow people was acting like build 300 to 400 when running

Volume will come with time
Yes eventually
320/400day on a good day 2 shifts

Robert
Amazing

You better come down here and start cracking the whip Lol. You worked the truck and navaigator launch to a T we could of used you down here.

LOL my launch days are over family man cant be away that long.

Starting at 20 per shift explains some of the low production "forecasted" numbers on the forum for the first run.
