FYI, if you're using google chrome as your browser. You may need to actually log out and log back in with your vehicle information. If you just hit the history it will reload the page when you last saw it and it won't update. So if your car was in production the last time and you just hit recent websites it won't update the information just reload the same page you saw previously.
I promise you I have used every browser available to man at this time (regular and incognito modes), even dusted off the cobwebs off the Edge browser for one last check before posting this. Kinda sick of this screen at this time.

I have asked him to send me a screenshot showing that the car's been built. If it doesn't have the microchip and they are just pushing it from one spot to another, then I would seriously challenge that notion even though it's a technicality. I know the 22's have a 1/3 build week so they better put our chips in before they do on the 22's.
Agreed, although I imagine my dealer would like nothing more than me to walk away from my order as they'd get to sell it themselves with ADM. I have a Tesla MY on order as a backup as well, but I really want the MachE - need a bigger car by March either way (2nd baby). Hoping today/tomorrow Ford will get their act together.

The tracker is an odd beast. I just copied the URL from the Chrome page:

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking/status/?vin=<YOUR-VIN-HERE>

pasted it into Safari (which I pretty much never use; had to start it) and it came up with the same info as Chrome. Clicked on MY ACCOUNT in the upper-right menu bar, I'm not logged in.

There have been times when going back to the page that lets you enter your VIN and order number, https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking, where I needed to refresh that page because it's session expired.

I'm imaging a scenario where it's deployed in multiple cloud regions with several servers in each, some of which are having issues, quietly, such that Ford DevOps has no idea what we're going through.

PS -- mine is still being built, estimated delivery, 12/31/21. Sherman, to the Wayback Machine!

The other trick I've found is working for me is to go onto a VPN or different IP address. I think there's a time-out mechanism that only lets one IP check status so many times before it locks out. I've had the tracker not work using my normal computer, and suddenly work when I turn on a VPN. But does it work with consistency? Yeah, probably not.

After 10 min. Of live chat which is a completely waste or time except the gave me the # of Ford marketing, called and held for about 8 min. and a nice woman checked and found my car is on chip hold at the Mexico factory. She said the former possible delivery date of 1/17 has no chance because of the transportation time so ETA is up in the air. Also was told my dealer did not put my email address on the original order so that’s why I have not had any communication from Ford directly. My salesman now is out with Covid and the sales manager is MIA.
The saga continues……..

I called my dealer today and got confirmation I was on chip hold and I specifically asked if they would finish the '21 cars on chip hold before finishing any 22s. For what it's worth (and not that I think he really knows this to be true), but my dealer did say that remaining 21s would receive chips before 22s.

Based on what I've seen through December this isn't true necessarily. Not all cars produced after the week of 12/6 are necessarily on chip hold . Same was the case with all the ppl on chip hold from Oct 21. Thankfully their cars were just released over the last 2 weeks.

My production date still says 12/6. I just got off the phone with Ford and the rep said the new date for production will be 1/22 and then a chip hold. So notifications will come on or after 1/22. Interesting they said it was still a 2021.
Are you showing as in production, or still waiting for that stage?

our back up order was the XC40 recharge. SIgned the papers today (to get $1000 cashback in Volvo bonuses). car is on a truck and to be delivered on 7th.
Really sick of this waiting/radio silence game from Ford. I am still hanging around this forum to see how things go for everyone and share info if my Mache order status changes.

This is new: The order "manage" page (https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=<YOUR-RESERVATION-ID>) is now refreshing itself over and over, Chrome on Mac. For me, anyway.

Maybe they did this so we don't have to click the refresh button anymore. Thanks Ford! Now do it on the tracker page.

(No changes, btw...)
