Thank you all for your useful contributions. Much appreciated!
I drove the P2 for the second time, together with my wife and two teenagers in the second row (15 and 17).
We made a decision and have unanimiously choosen for the P2.
Main reason is the driving experience (406 HP, AWD and lots of torque) and the more luxurious interior. The look and feel is good. It is a pity we could not see nor drive the MME in person. Perhaps that would have made the decision even more difficult.
The P2 has all options of the premium / FE and I like the dashboard better.

Servicing and maintenance is not an issue for me being a company lease car. It's not my problem as they pick up the car at my office and return it in the evening in case of maintenance.
The MME was also a good decision but it feels ok now.
Next thing is the color of the car and indeed the number of colors is limited. I might go for Thunder, a grey shade. My wife likes Magenesium which is off White. Luxury problems....
Expected delivery in Febr 2021.
Hope for you guys that MME will be in full production soon and if I see one driving early next year I will always think that could have been mine. Perhaps the next one in 2.5 years time will be a MME.
Good luck! Update us here once you get it. You have advantages to your ownership that most of us in the US would not have with that car. I also would not be able to get over it being made in China, but that is just me. I hope it works out well for you and your family!

Thanks. Will certainly do. Let's compare both cars in practical use here.

Thanks. I will certainly do and will stay in this forum too as I continue to be interested in the MME. Let's compare both cars here in daily use.

@FWE i saw the MME and the Polestar2 in real life and from close range and was quite disappointed about the P2 (i have not driven it).
I see MME as more "sporty"-minded car drivers and P2 more "business"-people car. Colleague of me ordered a Polestar2 and should receive it this year, when i got my MME we will be comparing it :)

@makooy, I agree with you. The Polestar has a more business look combined with a sporty exposure in my view. Personally I like this combination. Pity I was not able to see the MME in person. In my view the interior of P2 is more luxurious and more focussed on the driver compared to MME. In think the interior of P2 is more inspired by BMW, Audi, Jag, Volvo. MME has a flavour of Tesla interior except for the screen in front of the driver, but it still remains minimalistic.

Did you happen to watch the Lucid Air reveal? If you are looking for luxury, THAT is a luxury BEV. Pricey though.

No I did not, far too pricey and availability in EU is a great question mark. My current lease contract is ending per November so I am in a hurry, however Febr/March can be bridged.

I saw 7 Polestar2's at my local Volvo dealer and could not sit in them as they were for customers.
Polestar store in Rotterdam is nearby but haven't visited yet.

Check out my Instagram with 6x 10 pictures of the Mach-E in Rotterdam a couple of weeks ago.

I do have some more pictures but with somewhat quality issues or people passing by so not very usefull.

Need the advice of our Forum.

I have to choose this week between the Polestar or a Mach E, but only the RWD SR.
Just driven the Polestar. Impressive. More than 400 HP, AWD and lots of torque.
Nice interior too.
Also like the MME and about will cost me about 150 euro per month less.
Any recommendations or suggestions?

What would you do and why?
My Polestar arrives in a few weeks. The process was transparent, quick and easy. Real people answered my queries and I saved 10k.
ford should be ashamed that so many people are worried about delivery. They should be doing more to keep customers informed.

I agree that communication with Polestar is easy, convenient and quick. I sent about 3 different email with queries or specific questions and I reveived a convenient answer within a few hours everytime.

I have asked Ford a few times either by phone or by email about the eg the rims of the MME. Never received any answer on my mails altough they promissed me to come back with me. Even after a gentle reminder they never replied at all.

To be fair, it is important to note you are comparing support of a shipping car and one not shipping yet. That said, it's still not acceptable...

This post prompted me to put the Polestar on my radar screen to evaluate as a possible alternative should my Mach E order be pushed out too long. While it does seem like a very interesting car, I have rejected it as it looks to me more like a high-end compliance platform rather than a ground-up optimized EV platform.

Indeed it is not a real SUV but more a cross over. The platform is specially developped together with Volvo for EVs only. The Volvo Xc40 EV and the Polestar P2 use this platform.
You can find a lot of info of this platform on the internet.
Anyway, both cars have their pro's and con's. A large pro for me was to see the car in person, to be able to drive it en being sure that it is in production and being delivered right now.
