Yes this! Why give me a dedicated ABS button and no dedicated lift gate button. I use the lift gate button WAY more than turning abs on and offf.
There‘s an ABS button? Or are you talking about traction control?

It's a GT thing.
The traction control button is actually a Job 2 thing. It's the power meter that's just a GT thing.

I don't actually care about the lack of traction control button, but I sure would like the power meter.

Well dang, you're right again, General!

In the section of the manual called "Switching Traction Control On and Off," for job 1 it discusses the importance of traction control but never explains how ones goes about "switching traction control on or off." ?

In Job 2 and in 2022MY manuals, it describes pressing the dedicated button.

I think remember seeing a video where a Ford employee explained that the new button is there for GT owners, but I didn't realize it was there for all newer builds.

Where is the power meter? Is it only on the GT Performance?

Thanks! I must have missed it. Speaking of weird decisions, why does that screen have so much wasted space on the left and right side of the car logo and then put relevant info in a small font on the left and right side? Makes me feel like there’s something missing from my car.
If you have BlueCruise on and navigation going then the screen fills up for the most part, but unless you have that combination then there's a lot of space.

I could see them doing some sort of screen swapping in the future to provide more information. I.E. if you have navigation and BC enabled you really don't need the power meter because the car is driving itself. If you don't then maybe the power meter could be bigger or they could throw in a mi/kWh display. But that's a bunch of wishing.

As a 71 year old with Parkinson’s I am still waiting for production I’m sure I will set it to unbridled and use one pedal I itseems like a lot of people are wannabe IT Programmers Ford will work out these problems in the near future. We are purchasing a ground changing car I’m gonna love my GT and look beyond its quirks……..
