Called ford customer relations just now and they say my car still has a delivery date of 3/2/22 which matches the tracker as of yesterday. Tracker does not work today for me.

I specifically asked about chip hold and I was told that’s not it. They have no idea what is holding up the car.

quite frankly I don’t understand why my car is 3/2 while others are now in April or May.

stay tuned because as we know no date is written in stone.

This is exactly my position as well, I've been assured I am not on chip hold, and also have the 3/2/22 date. So what is it? Ford can't tell us...

@lonndog is your delivery date really in May now?
Define "really"!

That's what the tracker continues to show, so yes.

There was a segment on a local news show about how hard it is to buy a car. They went to a few dealerships that had nearly empty lots, and a couple of the people they talked to said it can take a year before an order comes in. A Hyundai dealer had only 4 new cars.

Didn't talk to a Ford dealer.

And mine isn't even showing that on the tracker, that is what both the dealer and Ford said, May.

Congratulations! That's awesome news.
Thanks. Like many in this group I thought it was taking too long. That's why I ordered the 2022 model in October... hedging my bet. Obviously, it could have been much worse. I won't cancel the 2022 order, at least not for now.

My build date was 11/22 then 11/29 then 12/6. It was not held up by anything as far as I know.
Congratulations again, as far as I know you might be the first one on this thread to get their cars. Hopefully your drive-off experience if fairly painless at the dealership and you can share some of your adventures with the e-pony. Let me know if what rates are you getting if you plan to use Ford options?

Wondering if we were on the same train out of Mexico. I went 11/22, then 12/13, but got to built on 12/21 also.

So if I do the math, and it takes this long to get to Phoenix, and then adjust for difference in distance from KC to Phoenix and Southeast Washington, respectively, my tentative calculations say the MME should arrive...

Never mind, the answer still feels like never.

Enjoy the ride!

I wasn't sure if anybody else from our build week had received theirs or not. I think I'm pretty lucky.

I didn't go with the Ford Options plan. Instead, I went through Penfed because they're offering 1.99% on 4 & 5 years loans for new cars. I won't be able to get the car until the payment arrives from Penfed, which should be late this week or early next week... they won't FedEx loan checks anymore. I did take the car for a test drive a little while ago and it's perfect so I couldn't be happier. It also gave me the opportunity to connect Ford Pass so I can keep a cyber-eye on it. LOL
