They have been working well, my car was one of the ones stuck on 1.6.0 and I had the dealer update manually to 1.7.1. Everything since then has been smooth

My July built GT has the light and horn button since day one.
Does it mean GTs are at 2.4.1 (or even later build) and it just takes Ford months to OTA those versions to all other cars?
If that is the case, and 2.4.1 was already available since July, why didn't they push this version first, instead of pushing 1.7, then 2.x, then 2.y, etc

I have a Job 1 car from March. I've always had the button, never pressed it to see if it works though.

I've had a Horn and Lights button in my app for my build 1 car for ages now. I honestly can't remember not having it...

You'd have window up and down, and lift gate function if you activated PaaK

I know but I need neither PAAK nor these buttons. I am walking past my car frequently with my phone on me, and I don't want PAAK to wake up the car every time. I tried PAAK, and I am not thrilled.
Call me old fashioned I am happy with the keyfob, and I luckily got two with my GT


Going back to the 2.4.1 power up, why is Ford releasing something that we already have? I used the button and it activates the horn and lights, so it works already.

Hmm I had lights and horn enabled in 2.1 or something, wonder what else this updates or it’s catching up certain vehicles with different branded modules

It has always been on Job 1 cars too. The Horn/Lights button has been in the release notes of several updates now. I think it‘s just code for Ford not saying what’s really in the update.

I notice there's now a PCM update in FDRS - perhaps that's the critter.
