The first time I start my car the seat doesn't move but I can turn it off and back on again and it does. I remember reading awhile back that some people had this issue, but I didn't until recently (a year after purchase). Did anyone ever figure out how to get it fixed.

I have sometimes found I need to hit the "1" button on the interior door controls. I have no clue why it works sometimes and other times it doesn't.

And then there's the times it only moves up partway.

Maybe my car is haunted.

Mine is the exact same. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and other times it goes only halfway and then I need to hit the 1 button to get it all the way up.

Beta testers lol but I love this car!

Have you had the 21P22 updates done yet?

I have the same issue and we know I'm current and job 2.

I originally thought when this happened it was because I put the car into drive before it had time to move. Ford prevents us from changing the seating while in motion.

It never really bothered me that much to try and verify it thought, but if someone wants to keep that in the back of their mind next time you could easily test my theory.

Hmm. I had the issue early on, but it went away at some point. I thought it was a BCM update that fixed it, but maybe it was just a coincidence.

Same here. No 21P22 update yet and am on powerup 2.3
First start of the day - seat does not adjust 100% of the time. Have to Press the 1 button.
Subsequent starts that day, seat adjusts properly 100% of the time.

My year-old car has always done this and still does. I have the latest OTA, but not 21P22.
Always fails on first start. Hit and miss thereafter.

It's really amazing to me how many of these cars have the same issues. My MME has been doing this for a few months now, bought April of last year. Probably 90% of the time I have to hit the number 1 button to get the seat in the right position. Most of the time it moves just a little but not all the way. I'm more surprised now when it goes to the right spot and I don't have to hit the button.

Turn the car on, without touching the brake pedal, to accessory and the seat nearly always adjusts. Then press the brake and start it up. If you press the brake and go from off to Run, it does not adjust or only moves a little and stops. If you do a remote start, when you get in the car, you can go to RUN without touching the brake. It seems to adjust fine that way.
