I can't use that tax credit because I don't pay Federal taxes, so why doesn't the Congress change that to a rebate on purchases, and only for U.S. brands, since no foreign brands give any incentives for U.S. brand sold overseas. I did get a $2,000 rebate after buying my Fusion Hybrid here.

So best case is Q1 2023 will be the last quarter to get the full $7500. Worst case is Q4 2022. I ordered a couple days ago so I'm hoping to get it this year anyway.

Best case appears that Q4 of 2022 will be the last quarter of the full credit. It doesn't seem likely at all they will hit 200k after September. Remember, if they hit 200k anytime during Q3, then Q4 will be the last quarter of the full credit.

I'm curious how much the delays and chip shortages are affecting this timeline. Have sales been slowed enough that it would push them into Q4 before they hit 200k? It looks like they were projected to end Q2 just short of 200k so Q3 seems pretty much a given but hard to say with the slowdown and shut down.
