Which do I have? OTA 2.10 or 2.30

My sync screen is showing 2.10 but Ford Pass sent me a message saying I received 2.3 and it was successfully installed. I do have Tiles and Blocks showing on the info screen and audio volume control bar is now verticle now horizontal. No other differences that Inhabe noticed.

Kind of got this same question. I have a select that I bought off the lot in January, a job 2 car apparently. So, I’ve got the full screen car play, Ford assistant, etc., but I do not have the tiles and blocks game.

Refer to This Post for more detail, but the only OTA that has been sent to Job 2 cars as of now is a BlueCruise map update. If you don't have BlueCruise, nothing has been sent to it yet

I checked out the post. I guess I’ll rephrase. So, I essentially and seemingly have all the features of 2.3.0: horizontal vol., full screen car play, multi scheduling, for assistant; all the “features” of 2.3.0 minus the games. All these features were already there whenever I bought the car. Obviously, I cannot see what update I’m running, but is there anyone that has these features or maybe have these features and some missing? As of right now, I just don’t have the extra games or the charging curve after 80

You are correct. Those features are indeed "out there" but they're not available to job 2 cars yet.

If I had to guess, not knowing too much about Ford's internal process I'd say this is what happened:
The manufacturing team got the most recent build of the sync software (with horizonal volume and vertical car play) and sent it to the factory, and that's what your car has.

Sometime later the OTA team also got the most recent build from the sync team, but by then the new games had also been added. This is what ended up in 2.3.0

All that to say that since your car is a job 2 car, the software won't line up with the updates job 1 cars have gotten. Your software seems to have been pulled from somewhere between 1.7.1 and 2.3.0 on the job 1s.

So yes, even though the software is "out there" you're not missing anything you should have. Ford just hasn't sent any updates to job 2 cars, and they likely won't until blue cruise has been rolled out to the older cars. At that point I'd guess they'd finally start bringing all of the cars to the same software version
