This dealer site says CA Route 1 and Premium models will be closed for ordering on 2/22, with Select and GT expected to remain open.

https://www.walnutcreekford.com/mache.htm
Yes, I can confirm from another source that Premium and CA Route 1 closure dates were extended from Feb 10th to Feb 22nd, while GT and Select are expected to remain open for the rest of the model year (subject to change). The closure date could possibly be extended again if there is still order capacity left, but don't hold your breath.

So GET THOSE ORDERS IN SOON if you want a '22 Premium or RT.1!

Ordered my select on 2/14 and it has been accepted by my dealer. Hope this means I'm good to go other than the wait.

Thanks, now that is very interesting and odd that they keep changing.
Don’t forget: Ford has never officially announced this. They may be nearing production targets and won’t cut it off until those are reached.

Mach E Premium AWD Ext ordered Feb 2022
Country flag
Ordered a Premium on 2/17 and was told by two different dealers that orders were supposed to close on 2/11. One salesman had to find out from his manager that they were still accepting orders. The other dealer asked me to order online because they were curious if it was still allowing orders. So 2/11 wasn't just a rumor amongst us and who knows when they will truly stop accepting orders so get your orders in.

This was an official dealer communication, sales managers can confirm with their regional reps if they missed the announcement. Your typical low-level salesman probably has no idea. Again it's somewhat of a moving target depending on remaining production availability.

Well, a good friend of mine reserved a Lightning on the first day possible and he told me the other day that his reservation was just able to be converted to an order in the last week or so. Dealer is Covert Ford in Austin, TX. He ordered a Platinum at $9X,XXX. Prob doesn’t help y’all any but figured I’d chime in anyhow.
Well I feel sorry for your friend. Covert Ford Austin is a shit show and by the worse Austin ford dealership in Austin.
God I regret getting my Mach E from them. The worse dealership I have ever dealt with.

I was told by 2 separate dealers that today was the last day to submit an order for the Premium. I did submit it this evening and already received the confirmation from Ford, although I have not yet been asked to pay a deposit.

That doesn’t sound right as you have to make a deposit online in order to proceed. And, the dealer has to accept the order before it is official with Ford and you get an email.

Very strange! The sales rep that I was emailing asked me only to sign a sheet specifying the specs, and also send over a copy of my license. I received the email confirmation from Ford shortly after.

I actually left them a voicemail this AM asking how to pay the deposit but did not hear back! Will need to reach out again tomorrow to see what's going on.

Oh ok, now it makes sense, you worked directly with the dealer and not Ford.com. Maybe your dealer isn't requiring a deposit for the order, ford.com requires $500 deposit to complete the order process.

They did mention the deposit but didn't collect it nor give me instructions how to pay them. I assumed that I would get a bill in the mail.

In any case I will try to reach them to clarify. I'm hoping to receive my Mach E late this year so want to make sure I'm not holding anything back.

If I were you, I would order it online and select the same dealer because I placed an order at a dealer with $500 deposit on January 13th and on February 12th, they notified me that they couldn't place the order. They refunded me the money and asked me to order it online.

Not a bad idea, It is interesting that Ford has not put anything official out about order banks closing for the Mach E.
