My dealer has 8 reservations…that’s all he’ll tell me. I’d be surprised if he gets allocated more than 1 in 2022.Same. I amlike72 on my dealer's list and he said he was allocated 9 2022sif I recall.Have to check my notes at home.
When did you reserve? I did mine early the morning of the 20th.
Mine had 276 as of mid-January.My dealer has 8 reservations…that’s all he’ll tell me. I’d be surprised if he gets allocated more than 1 in 2022.
Covert moves a lot of iron. I know people up here (800 miles away) who have bought trucks from there online. Even after paying transport, the price is lower than buying locally.Well, a good friend of mine reserved a Lightning on the first day possible and he told me the other day that his reservation was just able to be converted to an order in the last week or so. Dealer is Covert Ford in Austin, TX. He ordered a Platinum at $9X,XXX. Prob doesn’t help y’all any but figured I’d chime in anyhow.
Mach E production is just over 6,000 per month. Not sure how many are heading to EU/UK from Mexico or if those are part of the 55,000 counted above.According to Jim Farley's tweet, there appears to be approximately 55,000-ish reservations/orders pending for Mach E once you do a little estimating/guessing. Understanding he does says plus and hard to pin down exact numbers.
Lightening 200,000
Transit 20,000
Mach E 55,000
Total 275,000
Not sure I understand the difference in ordering and reserving.
Yes, they do. But they’ve been shitbirds with MMEs because Austin is an EV friendly market and they are capitalizing on the demand for any cool, non-Tesla EV. ADM out the wazoo. But, my friend said his Lightning has no ADM or extras. I was like, no shit, its $100K out the door. He sighed.Covert moves a lot of iron. The 2021 plan was 60% to the EU and UK and 40% to the U.S. and Canada. The final numbers seem to be reasonably close to that so I’d expect the 2022 plan to be “similar”Not sure how many are heading to EU/UK from Mexico or if those are part of the 55,000 counted above.
I am in Louisiana as well and just got word that mine should be arriving next week. Perhaps yours is on the same train?I ordered my Mach-E GT Perf Edition on 5-11-2021. Still waiting. Apparently it arrived in Kansas on 1-10-2022, but it appears that no one knows anything since then...
Not to change subjects, but I understand that batteries drain in the cold. I'm just wondering how charged these things are at the rail yards. It makes me wonder if it's just sitting in some yard and can't start....
Which section of Louisiana are you in? I'm right outside of New Orleans.I am in Louisiana as well and just got word that mine should be arriving next week. Perhaps yours is on the same train?
It’s probably all speculation, but maybe they are trying to keep from having to convert a bunch of 22s to 23s like they did with this year. I’ve seen a bunch of people already in production getting delivery dates pushed back for months due to chip holds and it will probably keep up all year too. If they are close to what they think they can produce for MY22 why keep accepting orders? It makes sense to me rumor or not.Mach E production is just over 6,000 per month. Either way, 55,000 is most of the 2022 production already.
