Picked up my 2022 Premium Space White AWD ER yesterday. Here is my timeline log on my buying experience (Raleigh NC)

7/31/21 - Ordered
9/28/21 - Converted to 2022
10/21/21 - Build Date Assigned for 12/20/21
10/28/21 - Build Date Assigned for 1/3/22
11/4/21 - Build Date Assigned for 1/10/22
1/17/22 - In Production email with estimated deliver of 3/8/22
1/22/22 - Built email with date of 1/21/22, estimated delivery date held at 3/8/22
1/24/22 - Shipped email, with new estimated delivery date of 3/6/22
2/22/22 - Delivered to dealership
2/26/22 - Picked up

It seems like if your car happens to be on the line when they get chips your car gets built. If it is across the street waiting for chips you’re out of luck.

I guess I'm going to have to get to Mexico, sneak across the street, and accidentally park my car on the production line again....

That’s my thinking. Mach-E group Mexican vacation.
My car is probably being blocked in by all the newer cars. Good valets are hard to find. And to think my original sales guy made me laugh when he told me I’d have my car by the holidays. But in his defense he didn’t specify which holiday. Didn’t think he meant the patriotic holiday grouping of Memorial Day, flag day and Independence Day. ?? Or I could be really lucky and have a Cinco de Mayo delivery ??

My delivery date has been updated to 3/29 (From 5/27) on the tracker. No shipment confirmation or email yet, though. I'm fairly certain my car was on chip hold because it was on the production line that week before everyone had the rug pulled out. Looks like at least one other on this thread also recently got a built confirmation. Something has to be happening for other cars in this batch, I hope...

Nice. Hopefully you get a shipped email early this week.

Tracker currently down for me (not new, happens a lot on Sundays). I suspect still at the same status of on chip hold.

I find the tracker doesn't work for me 95% of the time. Doesn't matter if I use Chrome or Edge on Windows, or my Android phone or Android tablet. Really crappy performance for a website.

-Website
-Order tracker
-Production process
-Providing of updates
-Providing of consistency
-Providing of communications
-Delivery process
-Overall experience

10K is a joke. Even though I disagree with even 1K ADM, I can understand when people say anything under 7500 is countered by the tax rebate. That's their choice to spend that money.

But 10K and up is one of the largest insults to the American market.

Nice of you to give a share btw for those looking. Just ADM is so effing gross.

Going to test drive an ionic 5 and tesla tomorrow. My estimated delivery is still end of May. The dealer sent me an email to tell me they hope to hear an update soon. I feel like I need to look at other options. The Lucid is nice but $$. Anyone else looking at other EVs?
