Damn. They must have seen that I was making fun of their survey on games and excluded me from this round.

I doubt it. I absolutely lambasted them on that survey, and I’m getting all the current updates.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty jelly of the special VIP EAs who are at the front of the line. I’m in EA but I guess not the super special EA. I’ve got a road trip coming up next weekend but doesn’t look like I’ll have BC in time.

It's understandable. I'm in the EAP but jealous of those who seem to be a week or two ahead of me!

Oh, you didn’t know? Yes, there’s a VIP lounge in the club, with hotter girls and bottle service. But only the coolest of the cool are allowed in. The rest of us are stuck out here swilling crappy miller light or some other junk.

I go back and forth. On the one hand I want the updates first, on the other hand I want them to work out all the bugs before they get sent to me.

Theoretically you would be receiving a final release candidate of an OTA. There could still be bugs with the wider distribution to the late beta testers, hmm I mean Early Access members, but all the real bad bugs should be gone. Should.

After all the talk on this thread and others, I thought I'd see what my EA account said. I signed up last summer, I foolishly thought I might get BC before my fall drive from California to Texas. Logged in and it showed I'm not signed up for any EA programs. Yeah, OK, oh well.

Mine still says “Waitlist”

Very important word in that statement.

I have been an iOS beta tester for years and sometimes there are 2 or even 3 Release Candidates because issues came up.

Let’s hope all of these roll out smoothly and there no need for revisions before the wider release.

Yup. Quite. I’ve done beta testing for a very long time. Stuff happens.

Who knows! 2.4.2 went out on Friday, and 2.4.3 Saturday. At this rate they very well could push out all 7 updates by the end of the week

Not discounting that possibility.

I'm just guessing that some of these updates might be a bit more involved than the ones we've seen (other than 2.4.2). Of course that doesn't preclude them still sending them all out this week.

No updates, for me, this morning. 4 nights to go, and potentially 5 updates before the weekend...

(The e-mail did say between 5 and 7 updates and my car is a CA Rt1 so maybe it doesn't need all 7--or perhaps they are counting earlier updates in that total??)
