I was busy installing all updates yesterday, so i guess i have some information.
Not all updates went fine with the latest FDRS.
FDRS even crashed in the middle of a big update and the laptop needed to reboot to flash again, so i guess the caching issues are back with 31.6.5
The updates did finish after second try.

I updated 2 different cars yesterday, first one took 4 hours and the second one took 8 hours !
First car was from december 2021 (delivered) and second one was build december 2020.
Both RWD+SR

Also some of the updates come back in the update list even if they are installed correctly.
I can't check right now because FDRS seems to be down ?

Some USB updates got 11 GB to flash !

I even saw briefly a bluecruise circle after starting the car. Never came back after that, so i could not take picture of it.

APIM took 1,5 hour
IPMA, CCM, PCSM and CMR took 3 hours
DSP about 20 minutes

Other modules about 5 minutes

IPMA crashed the first time DURING flash, car was still in flash mode, but exited eventually to normal mode. Had to reboot the laptop to be able to try again. Second time it completed the flash.

Sometime it looks like the flashing just stalls but after a few minutes the flashing continued normally.

Actually not the car crashed, but the software did. It crashed on both cars at some point
That’s what I meant. ☺ Others have reported trouble with these updates installing on Job 2 cars. I’m surprised you got them installed on that one.

I can tell you that if FDRS crashes during flash and the car stayes in flashmode i do get a little worried.

I've taken the entertainment out to my car in my garage -- I'm still way too uncomfortable to leave my car unattended when all this stuff is going on.
Ha ha well my garage being about 34F was a big motivator for me to take the remote monitoring approach lol.. didn't want to sit for 2.5 hours in the cold garage ha ha ha. On the bright side, it worked GREAT. I kept an eye on FDRS and system voltage the whole time

First - A rotary phone??????

Second - I always though the challenge was to see who could last the longest. I guess I've been doing this circle thing wrong my entire life.

Third - The only person you listed with a job1 is the general... the rest of us have been enjoying Bluecrap for a while now.
First. - oh yes! Complete with Bluetooth adapter so I can make and receive calls like it's 1964

Second - ohh. You know what. I think you're right. I was thinking of something else ?

Third - ?? I am a very thorough researcher as you can tell

In other news I got tired and cold and didn't finish all the updates. But a few weird things that happened last night before I wrapped up

1) NOTHING I updated disappeared from the FDRS list. IPMA CCM CMR PSCM IPC.

2) when I did the IPC update via USB, it said on the sync screen that it failed... But the IPC very clearly booted with the new UI.... Anyone else see that?

My opinion of Ford's update software has really done downhill. From you all saying things don't clear; to updates failing; to my attempts at the GWM and IPC failing a few weeks ago and the 1.7.1 fiasco... Modules released from the wrong job; wrong cars... I'm honestly amazed we haven't done more damage than we have yet and personally I'm now waiting for them to OTA update me. Kinda sucks, I wanted to enjoy this stuff.

No doubt! Luckily, mine complete all updates without crashing.
What version of FDRS did you use? There was an update yesterday to 31.6.5 and I have a suspicion that may be part of the issue.

31.6.2 was a bad release as well.

@chrisGT @HuntingPudel and I had a flashing party today. Mr. Pudel brought his chair.

No one had to call Roadside Assistance or remember where their winch points were, and all left with an improved charging curve and various other things better than when they arrived! (except for Chris, who still needs to do a GWM update, we had a bad USB stick).

Fun doughnut and update party, Andy. Thanks for allowing us to use your equipment and license. ??

@chrisGT has the first GT (non-PE)that I have seen. His wraps up all US models for me. ??

So, given you were all Build 2, which available module software did you NOT update? I'm specifically referencing the problems of inadvertently loading software meant for Build 1, as described elsewhere.
