agree with what you said just wish Ford would communicate better to their customers. they are really falling down on the customer service side.
My bet is they're hoping customers won't know there is anything to be upset about. The car drives well, so if you're not on the forum you maybe unaware that you're behind. Well, I take my car to the dealership in April for the free state inspection. Really hoping the fix is available by then at least. Stuck since early November.

Well, it’s a pretty obvious issue for those of us unable to turn on automatic updates at all. As with some others here, my biggest complaint is the official communication as well. I’ve had the car since August and never received an update, never have any pending or error status show in the app, and never received a notice from Ford saying they’re trying to fix it. All information has been second-hand at best from here in the forums. ?

guys fear not, last week I had a dream that my cat was barfing and that same day the cat barfed on my floor.
I just had a dream that my car finally got the 1.7.1 update. it's coming! trust me I am a wizard.
Now go dream we are all in bc powered Mach-E’s ?

Got this email from Ford Early Access today:

I am reaching out as our records indicate that your vehicle has been having issues getting the latest Ford Power-Up Software Updates. We are looking to help you get your vehicle fixed, preferably this week if you are available.

As a starting point, we’d like to see who your preferred dealer is. Can you let us know which dealer you would like to visit to get your software update issue fixed?...."

Replied and hope to get it in this week. We will see.

sure would be nice if the EaP program contacted me. I haven’t heard from them in months.
