Yeah I kinda want to do the same thing. I'm fairly certain I'll probably get more from carvana or one of the other vendors than the dealer.

I feel the exact same way, the estimate is likely the estimate +4 weeks.

My car has been built since 3/19, with an estimated arrival date of this week. Haha. Since the Ford Tracker is showing that it hasn't shipped yet. My dealer confirmed that it is still in Mexico. and didn't have any other information. Mine is a Grabber Blue GT ordered on 10/2. My original order was over a year ago. After not receiving my car by October, decided I really wanted a GT anyhow and resubmitted the GT order in October. Been waiting for over a year and am beyond frustrated.

I'm sorry...in my opinion I think that this built/not shipped ordeal is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. Like this is legitimately ridiculous. Palsapp is still the same too by the way if anyone wanted me to check. These things really are sitting in Lecheria.

That to be honest I would be quite shocked. Especially because when reading up on it, it said Job 2 2022 cars I believe built in May? I think they are just doing what they normally do. Not actually prioritize the cars that were on hold, and are just shipping whatever is new and built first.

AKA not knowing how in the hell to prioritize this.

Most of these cars are indicated in Ford's systems as WWGATFS. This is an internal Ford code. It stands for:

Fordpass has mine in a lot in Lecharia near the transshipment area. My car was here before making the head scratching trip to Veracruz.

My 2021 is likely stuck with all you "lucky" 2022s.

Update - I received some electronic movement from the shop.ford site… finally, a checked circle saying ‘built’ AND a sentence saying it’s been shipped. However, no checked circle next to shipped?..

On Ford.com, no change?… also, no email from Ford?

I’m not overly excited with this change or expecting anything soon, I’m just passing this info along to my fellow support group.

Reminder - I’m supposedly in Veracruz Ramp 7 waiting on a ship. Maybe the Grande Mirafiori?

I wonder how the trucking strikes in Mexico in late March affected this and if there are still disruptions. Mine is probably unaffected, stuck in a parking lot or warehouse, of course.

My Ford tracker says my car will be delivered 4/5 through 4/11. Built 3/1. Called dealer over weekend to get update and to see if I should start getting quotes for selling my current car, dealer said I should wait until the car gets here.

My response was so what I hear you saying is the car will be delivered at the end of May, he did not respond. Not counting on my car getting here in April.

Keep your current vehicle and do not sell it until after you have taken delivery of your MME.

PS -- My 2021 Mach-E, ordered 5/15/21, is en route somewhere between Kansas City and Encinitas, CA.

I just added Elena to my email chain. I never got a response and I'm getting extremely frustrated to be honest.
