Anyone else waiting for their cars to reach Benicia, CA for delivery to their Norcal dealer?

Me! Mine shipped from Mexico on March 23rd and arrived at the Argentine Ramp in Kansas City on April 11th. It is still there. I did the Ford chat thing and they said my estimated delivery to the dealer is May 3rd. I did get a railcar number, but the status didn't indicate anything useful.

I was Jan 3 build, 5536. Raised hell to the CMO via email (politely), and had my pony on a train within 24 hours back on March 28th. looked at the March 20 build group, they are arriving in jax the same as mine, insane! Nothing but $100 in ford swag for all the waiting.

Interesting. I contacted some execs and someone from exec office told me my car was going via boat on 3/28. It actually got on a ship 4/6 and been in jax since 4/14. So similar amount of time by ether rail or boat!

Magically appeared at Jim Ellis Sandy Springs today!! Will pick up tomorrow am. I am hopeful it will be worth the wait!

Got the 3 week push out update email last night, but also confirmed that the rail car arrived in JAX at 1am this morning. Hoping it doest actually take 3.5 weeks to move three hours via truck.

I received a similar notice a couple of days ago. Car arrived on train to Jax this morning and only needs to go to a dealer in the same city.

Oh you've been there a week longer than me! Mine got to the Argentine Ramp on the 18th. Ford chat hasn't provided any more info past that.

I think they're waiting until they have a full train. Or a crew. Or both. I hear that shipping via rail is impacted right now due to a lack of train locomotives and the crews for them. A lot of locomotives were put into "mothballs" during Covid, and crews for them laid off.

Same. I arrived on the 11th and the only thing that has changed since then was my delivery day moved from April 23rd to May 26th. I'm really hoping that's wrong, and the car is almost at the yard to be picked up for transport to the dealer. This was part of the info I got from my chat: "Railcar # TTGX851782 (Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co ) Ramp 6M, in Argentine, KS on Apr-11-2022"

Ok so I reached out to my dealer and got nowhere but according to the Ford chat my car has made it from KC (Ordertrack showed it movies from one rail to another there on 4/11) to a rail yard in Alliance TX which appears to be a little area just on the Texas side from Oklahoma. It is literally sitting 1 hour and 18 minutes from me with no hard info about when it will move from there to here except an estimated delivery of May 3rd. At least it’s not still in KC I guess.

i’m confused. you were batch 5536?
EDIT: I figured it out. you’re batch 3316, right?

What numbers/info am I looking at here. Is this laminated?

The 2021 GT and Premium vehicles came with "Acoustic Laminate Glass - Front-row side windows", but that feature was deleted for all 2022's on the order sheet.

"wombats3" picture confirmed that his premium has standard "tempered glass". Cars that have the acoustic laminated windows have the word "laminated" where his says "tempered".

"Will" posted this in February on the 1/10 build week group. I was not sure if this would be a running change for 2022 vehicles...

It is what it is...and I am sure that it will be fine. It is just a feature that we did not know was being downgraded when we got a 2022 (like the rear hatch kick sensor that went away). I am just excited because I hope to have my car within 2 weeks or so.

Similar for me, I’m on railcar TTGX694885. I called CSX tracking and the status it gave me was from last year in Milpitas, so I’m guessing it hasn’t left Kansas.
