Looks great! Are the tires fine with the 9” rim? Any stretch?

Yes, on the wheels... 20" x 9" ... no stretch... I wanted to keep the tires designed for the Mach-e... The Pirelli tire range for 7 1/2" - 9 1/2" for the width of the wheels... I was looking for something black and turbine looking... more of a electric car looking wheel... The range might be slightly affected... but, probably, not noticeable...it does fill in the flares. The funny thing is...everyone that saw it with the GT wheels... commented on how good the GT wheels looked. I drove to Laguna Beach and Dana Point yesterday... put about 148 miles on it... the range was spot on... I was actually impressed... The car is really fast... I must say, it meet and/or exceeded by expectations.

I believe the holes are predrilled. They are indicated by dimples in the bumper. They are supposed to rivet the bracket on.

Ford stopped drilling the bumper at the factory in May of 2021. They include the bracket now with every car and it’s up to the dealer to install it. My dealer did not install my bracket per my request, but they made me sign a waiver. ??

Totally worth the wait... Ordered in October 2021... Super Cool... Super Fast... MagneRide suspension... much better that the Premium, I test drove. I have some feedback on financing and delivery... Most importantly... let them know... Do not install the front plate... they literally drilled holes in the front bumper... they should have asked me first but, they claim that I ordered online in the purchase... glad I own a body shop... 2nd... I've heard about dealerships charging a mark up on the MSRP. In fact, the dealership planned on adding $ 1,000.00. However, when the car arrived, I financed the car through the Ford site, same I ordered the car through. I chose the balloon payment option... I ended up with $ 2,750.00 in discounts, they applied my $ 1,000.00 deposit and I will still get the $ 7,500.00 tax credit. I did not lease the car... the pay off at the end of 3 years will be $ 33,000.00. I'm sure the car will be worth more than that... if I choose to sell it. I did not pay a dealer mark-up... and they car is just amazing... all these reviews on the Mach-e are disappointing. Ford has made a statement and you better hurry... I would not have bought this car without the almost $ 10,000.00 in savings.

Got tired of waiting for the Premium model I ordered to be built. The dealer kindly agreed to return my deposit. No surprise given that there is a waiting list of prospective buyers. Found this beauty on another dealer's lot here in Ontario. It was a special order for another customer who changed his mind. I bought it on the spot. Picking it up tomorrow morning.

Do your front door windows say "tempered" or "laminated"?

All side glass on cars... are temper for safety... they bring into little beads... windshields are always laminated.... the only time glass is different, if the car has dual pane glass. I will check... but, it should be tempered.

How did you do your Ford Options financing without interacting with the dealership? The Ford Financing website requires an account number?

The front windows are laminated... Crazy... I didn't even realize it... I would think that it's the same as dual pane glass... don't ever let a Paintless Dent Removal person work on the front doors... they leverage against the glass with their tools... and they will break glass...

I did open an account on Ford.com ... to watched the status of the Mach-e ... you just need to create an account on the Ford site. I have a member # now... The car had an order # too... not sure, if that changes anything.

Technically, dual pane glass has a layer of some sort of gas between two paned pieces of glass (hence the name “dual pane”). Laminated glass is two pieces of glass laminated over a layer that increases the puncture resistance of the glass, no air between the pieces of glass. ??

Windshields are laminated... to keep the glass from hitting your eyes... Also, windshields are a structural part...the roof will collapse in a roll-over if wasn't glued in correctly... In a nutshell... It's 2 pieces of glass glued together...
