I swapped my F150 over from sync 2 to sync 3 a while back. Was super easy and well worth ~800 bucks or so. Crossing fingers sync 4 to android would be that simple if it's worth the upgrade.

The android TV on my Sony TVs is pretty nice...hoping whatever they roll out for the autos is nice as well

I read that the official Lightning launch is today. It would be informative to know how many Mach-E owners have reservations for the Lightning.

I have both MME (Select SR) and F150L (Lariat SR) on order.

Should be interesting which one arrives first since the were ordered on the same week.

I’d be shocked if Ford hits 200K before 3Q, in which case all deliveries through 4Q would be eligible for the credit.

Not sure of by tax credit he means the full 7.5k. Because it's progressive. It will last a year after it reaches 200k.

Thanks! Actually that was for my Volvo which allowed me to see the rear camera while I was slowly moving forward. I now have another set of lines on the floor in front for the Mach E since it shows the front camera when I'm going forward.

Don't be all sad about android interface. I have jeep and mach e gt. I still love sync 4A. it is way way more stable when it comes to stability.

With jeep they still can't get car play to be 100%. They break something with each update. Previous update my car play was rock solid, not after 30 minutes i will get a black screen and then i will have to play a game of switching between different screens and go back to car play screen and see what happened. it eventually comes back after going back and forth lmao.

Speed still is the same to me between that and sync 4A. As long as ford makes and effort to improve interface or do their best to optimize it I don't mind staying with Sync 4A.

But honestly as far as features FORD seems like they are still fighting between trying to keep old cars updated or try to sell new cars. Like not giving us the extra 3KW of battery power that they promised. Don't really like what they have done so far when it comes to making and effort to improve range etc like Tesla did. Really feels They are still stuck in the old ways. May be that will change but they better start streamlining things faster.

Sync 4/4A won’t be orphaned by Ford any time soon. Ford is installing Sync 4 on millions of vehicles (F-150) and there will continue to be development resources devoted to keeping it relevant for many years to come.

They had to close order banks because of demand. The MME is definitely not at the “take it behind the barn and shoot it” stage.

I just want a better dash display, if that is locked behind an android auto update i'll probably never consider a ford again. A lot of the purchase on the car was the promise that the car will get better. and so far ford has not delivered, a full year in.
