OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating?

I got a successful OTA 1.7.1 update yesterday, I was kind of surprised as I am in the Netherlands and the latest OTA update I received was the 1.6.0 in November 2021. I took my car to the Ford dealer end of February and the below are the open updates according to somebody on the forum who checked if there were any remaining updates.

I had a service booked for today. They called to cancel it. I spoke to the technician and he said there isn’t any software for me to update on etis. I told him about the fix with the service number and he said it’s not on his system. So don’t come in. IDOITS!!

Oh yeah, this is the same sort of nonsense that started me down the road of doing all my own updates ending with my enabling Bluecruise. Exactly the same ridiculous discussion with the tech at my dealership. He knows better now though! After I did all the updates on both my '21 F-150 and then the next day did my Mach-E and sent my salesman and the GM at the dealership screenshots of the IPC(s) while on the interstate while in BC hands-free mode.

I plan on doing all my own updates *from now on* as a result of this whole experience.

It did cause questions to be asked at my dealership.

Some imn Germany also got successfull Power Up 1.7.1 and more.
Some got 2.3.0 without any problems.

Mine tries to get 1.7.1 but it stucked with OTAM_S1006, what means "still downloading the files".
But nothing happens.
One time it downloaded 2 GB with connected wifi and that's it by now.

Well no luck! Dealer has had vehicle since Thursday and keeps getting an error message. Ford has advised to replace APIM module. Couple days for it to come in. Does anyone know if this will resolve the issue?

In my case yes (and several others here as they reported) replacing the APIM fixed the 1.7.1 OTA failure. Shortly after the replacement I started seeing OTA updates and I'm currently at 2.3.0.

Har stått fast en stund etter å ha fått 2.1.0 og for noen uker siden var det flere mislykkede forsøk på å laste ned 2.3.0. No new attempts to download after April 13.

My car has been at the dealer for 12 days now to get the fix for the 1.7 issues,the update wasn’t going through and ford is not letting them change the APIM,this morning they told me Ford said they have a new update coming may 2 to fix the problem so they should not do anything else @Ford Motor Company is getting frustrating.

After nearly a month, I'm happy to report that my dealership finally successfully completed this update. I now have 1.7.1, can trigger automatic updates, and I have blocks, sketch, and bluecruise... although I'm missing a few random things from the more recent updates. I hope they'll come in an OTA.

The dealership used my TrendNet adapter and amazonbasics cables. They were apparently doing things wrong the first 3 attempts. (The reason it took so long was because every time they accumulated 5 bad attempts, the VIN would lock out for 5 days. This repeated 3 times with them and I kept bringing it back).
Finally, they figured it out with tech support guiding them.

This update didn't fail. It didn't apply to your car anymore because the dealer had already applied this update.

Your VIN was in the pic, and see that a dealer had ran this update on 4/21. It was the GWM update.

can you tell what’s going on with my car? I dropped it for the blue cruise install and they have it since 3 weeks.
They are telling me that blue cruise isn’t working when they do the test drive and that they are getting error codes.
Now they wait for the Ford engineers to do something since a week.

Your car is getting some lost communications errors, but other than that, nothing stands out as missing. I'd wait until next week and see what the new updates look like, going through the new updates may get bluecruise working for these instances.

My MME was in the shop last week and they claimed they ran the TSB 22-2150 and all the updates but I don't think so. Can someone please run my VIN 3FMTK3SS6MMA20355 THANK YOU!
