Happy May The Ford Be With You Day ...

I think the forces may be working in my favor today ... within the last 3 hours my car has "shipped" ... I'm hoping that means picked up to be delivered to the dealer ... cause this puts it in the time line to be at my dealer when they normally get deliveries ..

I guess after calling Ford HQ and getting my car search "escalated" it finally appeared ... fingers crossed this means I'll be able to pick it up after work ...

may the Ford Forces be working for everyone else today ....

No email yet from Ford, today is the end of my delivery window (4/28 - 5/4). Logged in, now shows 5/9 - 5/15. Given that it was last in Laredo and still is showing nothing in Kansas City, perhaps this is more "accurate".

I would like to introduce the group to it's newest member ... it's Casper3PO .. it was just Casper .. but the C3PO seemed appropriate for today ... He comes home in 7 hours ... i wish these people at work would leave me alone so i can finish purchasing my car .. and sending out adoption notices ..

Car also has a weird thump felt in the driver's floor going over some bumps, that may require further investigation. Ride somewhat bouncy as expected. I noticed the rear springs are a lot softer than the front springs, I can hardly get the front to compress. I get about 1.5 cycles out of the rear rebound, so needs a little more damping. Mechanical brakes are also pretty rough, hopefully they smooth out from wear over the next few days or else it's going back for the brake TSB.

BlueCruise won't work yet because of the pending maps update, due to Ford servers being messed up right now I asked that they didn't try to do any software updates. Lane centering also doesn't work for the same reason. Hopefully I get another OTA push in the next few days, otherwise I will update the GWM manually with FDRS.

My 22 that I got in early March also has this light thump in the drivers floor over bumps. Honestly, I assume it is normal so interested in what others say. Doesnt bother me as is very minor - I assume it is the very heavy battery flexing on bumps or something like that.

I got a Bluecruise map update on day 2 of ownership so maybe you will too

Going tonight to take pics of the very dirty baby, and it will be available Friday. According to the salesperson, it was one of EIGHT that arrived and all need to be prepped.

My car has been in Laredo, Texas since 4/25. Still waiting for paint to dry. I mean shipment to move!!!

My is in same status since 5/2 but 1/24 build group. Did you ordered from Yuba City dealership ?

Hello Fellow YC MME Fan, yes I ordered from Geweke Ford in YC. There is also another person in this forum that ordered +/- a few days difference from me (ordered from Geweke also). He got delivery last week 4/30!! I'm 1/07 build group.

As of today, per Ford chat. My car is in Missouri. Hopefully a sooner delivery time than ETA 5/26-6/1. Original ETA was 4/29.

FYI, I'm going to setup a local Sacramento MME group. Interested in Joining? I will setup a meet/greet when time comes.
