Yeah I’m pretty sure the dealer took me all the way up to 2.5.3 at end of March when I got BC. The past few days I’ve “gotten” 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 - but I’m pretty skeptical these are actual updates. Seems like Ford just pushed some messages in the course of changing the numbering from 2.5.x to 2.8.x.

I received 2.8.2 yesterday, 2.8.3 today.

2.8.2 and 2.8.3 contain minimal updates from 2.5.2/2.5.3 and from 21G01. The best part is Ford is getting all the job 1 cars to the same software status. Consider it a cleanup operation. That will make future Power Ups easier as the cars that are all at 2.8.3 will have a consistent software to build on.

I've been on 2.5.2 with BlueCruise active for the last month or so, but 2.5.3 had failed 3 times. I received 2.8.2 last night.

2.5.3 had failed on me, and so has 2.8.3...

Are Job 2 vehicles ever going to get any updates? There are still plenty of bugs in job 2 cars too. Frunk button and BC aren't the end of the story.

Despite being updated to BlueCruise by Ford engineers, and it working fine, this morning I found I had received 2.8.2.

About a month ago I had the BC update installed at the dealer with the 21G01. Today I got 2.8.2. No EA here.

At least my car phones home and gets love from the mother ship.

Good to know I should be on the lookout for that as well considering I also had 21G01 done at the dealer about a month ago!

I got 21G01 at the dealer, and now a week later got 2.8.2. But no joy on BC, it still does not work. Vaporware.
