Has anyone else had this? It seems to be worse now in the heat but the shoulder bolsters creak so bad on both sides. If you go around a turn hard or hit a big bump its a nice creak. Getting in and out nice creak. Shifting in the seat - it creaks.

I am someone who goes crazy over squeaks, rattles, and creak noises so this bothers the heck out of me. It seems once the cabin cools off some after a long drive it doesn't happen as badly but still happens. I absolutely love the comfort of these seats but wish I had my FE seats just because of the noise.

It is obviously worst when I'm pushing on it but has done it since new...just starting to get not tolerable. Pretty sure Ford won't warranty it either if I had to guess because there won't be a fix.

Yes since day one ...

I just turn the music up louder. The interior fit and finish of the MME is my biggest complaint.

Mine has done it since day 1 too but it never was bad enough for me to even notice. Maybe happen as you get in an out. Now with the heat it's gotten real BAD. Maybe I'm just used to driving my 911 for the past few weeks while they were fixing my car, but its driving me nuts now!

I think the fit and finish is fine except for this one piece honestly. Of course there could be improvements made but for a Ford product I'm happy.

I once had a service advisor at Lincoln tell me to turn my music up louder after they attempted and failed to fix a rattle for the 4th time.

For the price there's too much plastic, no leather options, hud, carbon etc. You know very well getting into a Porsche, Audi, BMW etc at the same price point would feel much different. That's why I say it's a disappointment.

Even if it was more, I would have paid for it.

Sure, a non EV Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes at this price point. EV just makes it expensive. Cayenne E-Hybrid with leather interior and a few options is $100k+.

I get what you're saying but I guess I'm overall happy and it meets my expectations (except for this creak!).

just checked mine and it does not do that. VIN ends in 2034.

edit: i can hear some of that creak that is audible in your video @breeves002 but only after i push with rather large force with my arm and not gentle like you are doing. Definitely more force than my shoulder makes when i sit in the seat or when i accelerate.

I would bypass Ford and just take this to a custom interior specialist. They will fabricate something to replace whatever piece of subprime plastic and Styrofoam in there. I have OCD and I have sold cars for things this becuase I spend so many hours driving (I'm looking at you 2015 Infiniti Q50s).

I feel what you're saying, but I'd rather not pay for something this silly on a $70k+ vehicle. Personal preference.

Granted the wasted time at a Ford dealer may be worth more than the cost for a third party to solve the problem.

Yeah, thats where I was going with that. They also will put the same styrofoam bolster back in there which will lead to the same problem.

Interesting yours was built right around when mine was too. I have noticed that when it is HOT it is much worse, it looks like it is pretty cool where you are today. Try again on a day when the sun is baking the car. Even though it is worse mine did it even in the winter it just wasn't nearly as bad to where it really didn't bother me since I had to do something unreasonable to get it to make the sound.

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

My bolsters move about but don't creak, I had already noted that one down as a give it time lol, so seems like they will in time :(. It has not bothered me as of yet but the cup holders however if your bottle isn't perfectly sized for the adaptable grabbers they squeak like crazy to the point I have to wedge my water bottle in at an angle.

Mine move a little but no noise that I can hear. My hearing sux though. I’ll have to go out and mess with it and pay attention to ensure that they don’t actually make noise. ??

Same here...my 3/7/22 build has the creaks and clicks. Very poor design using multiple hard pieces like this. With constant movement and heat expansion both upper molded seat back sections have constant noises whenever I or a passenger leans to one side or the other. I tried silicone spray while holding a rag over the nozzle to prevent it from spraying all over. Has helped a little...another thing I can't believe is how cheap the molded seat back pieces are.

11/2021 build, mines creaked since day 1. I rented a GT PE off Turo before upgrading to the GT PE and that one creaked a BUNCH, the slightest movement and the whole seat creaked.

The sound that annoys me more is my driver window ledge thing, above where the actual arm rest is, I rest my arm on that most times and when I shift my arm or lift it completely, it makes a kind of unsticking noise, like the pleather or whatever it is isn't properly secure/tight enough and when I press it down, the glue or whatever makes contact with the surface under it and then when I take my arm off its almost "unsticking" or something. Does anyone else have this or is that normal?
