@GreaseMonkey did you call them or register to use their shipping tool?
I call them directly and get an automated update on the location. Here’s the info:

Call Norfolk Southern via 800-635-5768.

Press 2 for Intermodal. Then 2 for tracing.

For AOK, press 266655#
Then enter your 6-digit car number followed by #.

Its July. I can’t believe we’re still dealing with this shit.

signed paperwork today. got offered an extended warranty taking bumper to bumper from 3 years/36k to 6 years/100k costs $2900 or $43 a month over 6 years. I later saw the 8 year/100k warranty on the electric vehicle components (which should cover the battery right?) so did I get ripped off paying 3k to protect some trim?

It's up to you to decide what utility you will extract from it. Don't beat yourself too hard.

but it isn't protecting the battery, just the cheaper parts right? I mean the 8 year covers the expensive stuff
Yes, you provided the trim, windows, seats, etc. a very robust protection :)

Anyone have a link to a thread from some dealer that was selling extended warranties here? I can't seem to find it.

I still have time to cancel this extended warranty actually and think I might. I can't imagine needing to pay a 5% premium on the cost of the car to get years 4 through 6 covered for the cheap stuff. anything in here make you guys think twice about buying it? roughly $2900 or 43 a month for 72 months added to my loan

When I ordered I was secretly hoping for April/May delivery (28 weeks) but joked about it arriving in August.

Ordered: Oct 1/2021 (first day of 2022 orders)
Scheduled: 4/18 (200 days)
Production: 5/25 (237 days)
Delivered: 7/2 (275 days - 39 weeks)

Yeah these extended warranties are mostly junk.

Once in a while they are worth it... like with Kia's and their unreliable 2.0L/2.4L engines...

My 2 cents.

I have purchased plans on my last 2 cars because we were good friends with the salesperson and we got them at a discount. Never used them. So, I'm thinking about not doing it this time for that reason *and* that I'm in a better position to afford the repair. I don't really need the peace of mind the plan yields at this time.

The only extended warranty I’d buy is “road and hazard.” The tires are expensive and wheels/rims on these EVs are often insanely pricey too. My first Mach-E had a leak within the first two weeks and cost me $280 total to replace the tire.
