I have a lot of FordPass points I got from the purchase of the car, and I think I'm supposed to get a few more from my 10k service, but I don't really have any good ideas about what to use them for.

Has anyone bought anything really useful with your FordPass rewards?

I used some of them for the Floor Liners for our MachE. I also used them for an oil change and tire rotation on our F150 Hybrid.

First, know that points expire a year after receiving them, unless there is activity (plus or minus) in the account. Activity can be as little as they will take. I spent $1 on 2 fasteners before I bought my Mach-E last year so the points would not expire. That renewed for another year, then I used them to buy accessories.

Second, they are worth 1/2 cent. 22,000 points is $110.

Third, if you paid for your 10,000 mile service, and gave them the email address, you should have credit. If you used points for the service then that deducted some and reset the expiration.

Finally, you can use the points at any Ford dealer, including SOME of their websites. Note that many dealers sell parts and accessories online, and also via a connection to the FordParts website. These may have different prices. My dealer has 3 sets of prices on parts/accessories - full list at the counter, discounted on the FordParts connected site, and more discounted on their own site. Make sure you're not paying more to just use up the points.

Off topic, but what do they do to the car at the 10k mile service?

Posted a few times, and it's in the manual.

Tire rotation and visual inspection.

If you have nothing else to buy, you can use them on an Extended Service Plan like PremiumCare or DentCare.
Hmm is this something you can actually do? It sounds like a good idea, but will they take FordPass points for it?

Why would he say it if you couldn't?

Yes, try the online dealers like ZieglerFordESP, FloodFordESP, and Granger Ford.

I used the ~$110 to buy the all weather mats form the Ford accessories website, money well spent.

Yes, I did it. You can shop around, but it looks like Granger is the least expensive option at the moment. Just tell them that you want to use your points and they'll deduct it from the invoice.

Was this an old promotion? I didn't get any FordPass points when I bought the car.

You should get some call Ford and ask why you didn't get them. It happens to me every time because I register my cars in a company name so I have to tell them to credit me the points instead.
