Since I've purchased several Fords recently, I have a lot of FordPass Rewards points. In the past, I've used them mainly for oil changes and other routine maintenance on my ICE cars and trucks.

But for the MME, I'll probably use them to buy accessories such as rubber floor mats, since the GTPE I'm about to take delivery of wasn't ordered with the Interior Protection package.

It irritates me that we can't simply use our FordPass Rewards points via the main Ford Accessories website. Why do we have to use them only through dealers or their websites? Seems inefficient and not particularly customer-friendly.

On a related note, has anyone applied for and received the FordPass Rewards VISA card? It allows you to earn FordPass Rewards points on purchases at dealers and elsewhere. Not sure it's worth it for MME owners, but since I have several Fords including an ICE Edge and F-150, I'm considering it.

Thanks. I double-checked the site and it said it may take up to 30 days to seem them after a purchase. I just picked up the car last week.

Lousy credit card. 1.5 cents per dollar spent as I recall.

Should hit within a few days.

Thanks for this I never knew how to redeem them before. Just used some for an oil change on my son's ICE vehicle

Do you know the free 250kW DCFC expires in a year like the reward points?

I got the all-weather floor mats and I also got the rear bumper protector (which I cannot get to stick to my bumper to save my life).

I guess the accessories are different based on location and the dealer selected.
I don't see the sunshade listed at all for me and I selected all three of the local Ford dealers to make sure.

I'm with others on the rewards used when we had an ICE vehicle. Oil change and tire rotation is what my points where used for in past. I'm at 41K points so I would like to find something useful to spend it on.

I've always felt specialty credit cards were worst than normal cash cards since you can use cash for everything and a lot of times, the specialty credit cards don't reward much more than normal cards. RichMachE looked up 1.5 points per dollar spent on the FordPass one. Some cards do offer more than that not locked into 1 company.

Some CCs, if you shop regularly there (like Amazon/Target) are pretty good since it's an instant 5% off everything.

The downside with points is that the terms can also change.

I used my points for the all weather floor mats.

I've also noticed different prices for Ford Accessories and a lot of times, Ford will have a sale on the website, but the dealership won't match that sale price. The website is pretty poorly designed/to use and they should really allow you to just order/check out and pay online directly.

I used them on the Mach E sunshade.

$10 for installation? What does that mean? They drive around with you all the time and put them up for you on sunny days when you park?

OEM floor mats. I might have been overcharged though… 43000 points does not sound right.

Sounds right. They were $240 when I ordered the car (protection package).

Points used for:
1. Wheel lock Kit
2. All interior rubber mats (4 in cabin one in back)
3. Zippered semi rigid case for Mobile Charger (Mach E logo)
4. Ford first aid kit
5. Ford Road Hazard kit
6. Protective rear bumper film
7. Part of down payment when I bought the car (used the maximum Ford allowed)
8. Service work on my 2016 Ford Fusion
9. Touch-up paint

We had the Ford Pass credit card and ran everything in our household on the credit card and paid it in full every month. We amassed a lot of Rewards Points this way.
