I thought my perils with the dealer were over when I purchased the Mach-E. The dealer is now bugging me for proof/source of X-Plan PIN. I just spoke with the Ford Partners person and they said I don't need to do anything. My PIN is valid and that my Mach-E is tied to it already. So I asked the Ford Partner person what I should tell the dealer. She said have the dealer call Ford. My dealer responds by demanding that I submit proof of share ownership. I already did that to get the PIN... directly with Ford.

My dealership shows some new New inventory as of today (previously they only had 3 new vehicles, now they have 6, although none are Mach E's). Should I be hopeful I'll get a call soon, or is this just me pulling at straws and refusing to accept that despite being 9 miles away for approximately 2 weeks, my car will not come in until after the estimated delivery range?

Honestly I don't think I'd ever buy a Ford again or recommend buying a Ford to anybody, no matter how good the car is. Even if the dealer doesn't try to pull any price-increase crap, this has been a dreadful experience.

Well, and also once you mention legal action, the dealership will halt all discussions and refer you to speak with the Legal department.

That would be a great outcome. He doesn’t want to speak to them! They are harassing him.

I would just ignore them…like they ignored you before.

@WSoxFan22 , we’re in Decatur, Illinois. Makes no sense, but that’s the word on the street.

Kansas City to Elkhart, spend two weeks collecting dust then Decatur. You should look at a map to really appreciate how absurd that is.

@WSoxFan22 , my update was inaccurate. The rail car is in Decatur, but it’s empty and on its way back to Kansas City. Our cars were offloaded and left at Elkhart, no new rail car information. Ford Customer Service has no additional info except that ETA is still July 12th (which is practically impossible at this point)…oh and contact your dealer (his exact quote was “the dealer would know more about it than us”).

My guess is that we are waiting for yet another rail car to make the last leg, then hauled via truck to the dealer. So probably a few days delay vs schedule.

My car must have hopped a car hauler with as fast as it made it to Indianapolis from Elkhart. The last update I received was that the railcar was empty, so I figured it was stuck there. This all makes little sense.

There was a space white mme that may have made the same journey. I noticed it first and thought my "Ice Blue Silver" was looking much more pale than I expected..

After chasing down every mach e I’d see in someone’s inventory only to find out it was sold I finally asked a dealer what gives? They told me Ford requires them to keep cars listed online as inventory even if sold. Not sure how true that is- but also not sure how real the inventory you’re seeing is. I ordered my mme last October and will supposedly get it by the end of July. Good Luck with yours!

finally have my frau blücher home. now if I could just program this stupid garage door opener. I tried the learning from the remote but it didn't take. the opener inside is too old to have a learn button on it, my apt building isn't likely to replace it either. can anyone help?
