Clearly you don’t even see those stickers on the back of the back seats. Here’sa shot of Marlon with the stickers removed. You’ll see the impact on the upholstery.

Yes, those stickers are equally stupid. Had not really noticed them but now that you've pointed them out, I will not be able to unsee them. Thanks a lot Mark. Now, where did I leave my electrical tape...

I was asked by Rod in another thread to explain how I removed the visor warning stickers so here it is. I do many small mods like this on my cars but rarely post them unless asked. I am not a fan of bright yellow and white stickers messing up the look of a black interior and most of my cars/trucks have black interiors. This probably took me no more than 20 minutes for both sides but I've done this many times.
Your instructions worked great, thank you Mark B!

I did have one of my plastic visor joint covers fight hard to stay in place. The passenger side cover came off readily, so I just applied more force and a tool on the driver side and it finally come off.

I have been annoyed by those stickers for 25 years. I feel better now.

These last bits of glue is so tedious to remove. Any tips?

keep putting alcohol on your rag and use your finger nail and scratch it off thru the rag...
the last bits were really tedious. had to scrub it so much just to get off, but finally got one done. heh.

....gotta say, this worked great. I removed my stickers today and the visors look great. The instructions were clear and accurate. It did take a bit more elbow grease to get the glue off than I expected, but otherwise this is one of the best visual improvements I've ever seen. Thanks.

I'll need to add this to my "To Do" list. I only have about 6 weeks left until mine arrives. Hopefully I'll still have some summer left to do all the things I want to do before school starts and marching band takes over my life again.

Yeah, I did the same thing with those two stickers on the back of the back seats. I just tediously peeled at them slowly by hand without any alcohol or hairdryer. One came off almost perfectly, but the other one looks almost identical to this photo. I wasn't able to get it any better with alcohol, acetone, or Windex. I'm not sure if it's worth trying Goo Gone, but otherwise I'm out of ideas and will just have to live with the bit of white specks. I still think the bit of white residue looks better than the original sticker, though, so I'm not too upset.

Did you try peanut butter? I use PB on all my sticky surfaces with great success.

Using 99% isopropyl alcohol and microfiber cloth is key. I spent forever trying to get the glue out with the 70% formula and a dish rag and it was super painfully difficult. 99% alcohol seemed to work much much better

leaned my seat back the other day to rest while I was waiting for my daughters game to start and noticed those stickers ....then I stumbled across this post. I did the passenger with 70% and it came out really well. So much elbow grease but it looks great. Going to rest and try again with 99% after I recover. ?

I am quoting myself from the first post in case some didn't read it. Nothing works well at all except 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.

"Once the sticker is off, you need to remove the glue left behind. 99% Isopropyl alcohol works great for this. Goo Gone, WD-40, mineral spirits, peanut butter DOES NOT WORK. I soak the glued area for a couple of minutes with the alcohol then using a thin micro fiber cloth that is also wet with alcohol, I start rubbing the glue off. After a few minutes, the visor is all clean and you can reinstall it."

Technically you said it works great. You never said 50% sucks, and 70% isn't much better ?

I am here to confirm that 50% won't work, and 70% will work but be prepared to get a good workout in and spend about 1 hour at it. I ordered some 99% from amazon and can confirm it is WAY BETTER. I spent about 10-15 min total with the second visor.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom Mark! Looks so much better
