Good morning,
Long time lurker first time poster here.
We have a premium extended range 4x mache that has been trouble free until now. The car has 8500 miles. About 500 miles back the car through a service vehicle soon warning along with stored code P0C43. Took it to the dealership and they updated a module, put 50 miles on it and said we are good to go but cautioned us that if that code comes back it could mean something bigger like a full battery replacement!
Anyway, the code has come back 2 times over the 500 mile or so period. Most recently the code was joined by a picture of a car with a exclamation point symbol as well as a warning about the rear brakes not working. The warning symbols will clear with a key cycle and the car will drive fine. It is scheduled to go back to the dealership Aug. 3rd. The dealership is pretty honest about telling us this is the first mache they have worked on. I'm trying to go into to this with as much knowledge as possible so I am seeing if anyone on the forums has experience this code?
The vin is 3FMTK3SU6MMA44947 if anyone wants to take a look.
Thanks,
Joseph
