I find it absolutely bonkers that I just read through 4 full pages of posts with folks ready and willing to help you, and in order to do so they asked one very simple question which is really the only thing that matters here.

That question is, what are you getting as your average miles per Kwh on your trip?

You need to understand that you engaged people to help you, and when they ask you for CRITICAL INFORMATION which is NEEDED to properly answer your question, you constantly refuse to answer.

Instead you start talking about a different model of Mach-E that you previously owned...? Why?

These folks aren't asking you for that information because they have nothing better to do. They are asking you because range is a function of CONSUMPTION per mile traveled x the available supply of fuel (electrons or gas) it doesn't matter. If that number was 3 miles per kwhr then you multiply it by the total amount of energy you can actually use in the pack (which is approximately 89Kwhrs) and you arrive at reasonable range estimate of 267 miles or thereabouts.

If your consumption figures were say 2.4 miles per kilowatt hour, then your range at that rate would be about 214 miles.

The whole reason these folks asked the question is because that simple math using of consumption x 89 kwhr would tell us if you indeed are getting what is to be expected, or if it is wildly off because you do not actually have 89 kwhr available (to use and consume), therfore suggesting a problem with your battery.

With that said, do yourself a favor and help us help you by answering the questions that are clearly being asked for a reason in response to help that YOU asked for.

Is it any wonder why folks on the forum get fed up by the countless questions that come up from people who just do not take the time to understand how and where the range comes from. To make it worse when people to try to help all you do is frustrate folks by going in circles with completely irrelevant information.

To then end the discussion by saying "thanks I got the info I was looking for" without also answering the question is also kind of a dick move. Sure maybe you got the answer you needed and maybe even realized where you messed up. But this is a public forum and others who have the same questions will read through all these pages and still end up with absolutely no answers whatsoever. Why??
Wait, I thought I had 91 usable kw.....

2.5 mi/kwh. There's your answer- 222 miles of calculated range. Sounds like your battery is OK, and your right foot is, too.

Well, since BC was doing 80% of the driving on I-8 at or below the speed limit, I don't think my foot is a suspect for this trip. 200-215 miles of range is not what I was expecting, but since long trips are infrequent I guess it doesn't matter too much — aside from running out of range and having to be towed to an EA station. That part sucked.

I guess I enjoy driving my MME more than you do.... Talk about SHOCKED!
Man if you’d have mentioned that one data point from the get go - this whole thing wouldn’t been just another thread - but you pointedly chose not to. Which turned it into … this.

You know, when I took that original photo I was in a hurry. Perhaps if ppl weren't such assholes for no good reason it wouldn't have turned into this either.

That's what I meant- your right foot seems fine!

It is odd that with BC and slower set speed your efficiency was that bad. Maybe something else is stealing angry pixies?

IDK, Alex. I haven't altered my driving style from one MME to the next so it must be minor differences in the two cars (tire width as mentioned; heavier up front motor, etc.). I loved the Prem 4X and it set the bar high (260-270 consistently). Given that I upgraded to the GT for the replacement I expected bigger and better, hence the disappointment. But I love the car and am certainly happier than I would have been had I gone with the Tesla Y.

The 2022 models got an extra 2 or 3 kwhr unlocked from factory. I do not believe the 2021 job 1 cars got this update though. So depending on which model you have you may have 89Kwhrs or 91Kwhr of usable capacity on the long range pack.

I am going to ignore this thread now. I should have done it before when Steve decided to ignore it.

Daniel, there are honestly lots of people here who want to help others, and do it on a daily basis. We have tried repeatedly to help you, and you refuse to provide enough information for us to do that. I have no idea why you are acting the way you are acting, but you keep doing you.

If you need help from the forum, please be willing to work with us and answer our questions. Otherwise, you are seriously wasting our time. And we are all volunteers, not paid. We help other MME owners because we want to.

Good luck and I suggest you think about the next post you make before you make it.

If I had the stock tires, it probably would get past 300 miles in the GOM. This is with the cross climate tires, mostly rural roads.
geez. How do you do that?? I’m always 220-230mi of GOM range. I get between 2.7-3.0mi/kWh for the most part.

I’m still waiting on 22S41 to start me on my SSN journey.

Mike, I did provide the information; it was 2.5 mi/kWh. If I didn't get that info in quickly enough that is hardly a reason to be nasty to ppl. I have watched dozens and dozens of YT vids on this car. I bought a second one when I could have gone a different route. We are supposed to be doing something good by buying EVs — so I suggest you and others slow your roll next time and be a little more customer service friendly if that is your reason for being here. Have a good night.

Really? "Customer service friendly"? We are your neighbors, not your personal help desk support, and we do not work for Ford. Some of us are retired, and some of us are still working. This forum is something we do for fun, and to provide a service.

Your attitude speaks volumes. I asked you to think about your next post before you made it, and apparently that went right over your head.

Good luck. You have annoyed the crap out of me now. Maybe someone else will help you.
