Rick only takes left turns.
For the longest time, NASCAR was “go fas, turn left,” but now there are a lot of road courses. Makes me happy. ??

The only time I will watch NASCAR is when they are on a road course.

Back OT - I'm hoping that my 2022 ER RWD Premium (Feb 22 build) will hold up.
I don't often fast charge and use whisper mode most of the time. We shall see!

I was really hoping that Kimi could teach the good ole boys a thing last weekend, and he got up to 8th place before being taken out. Let's not forget that while in F1, he was racing snowmobiles under the name "James Hunt" so that he couldn't get in trouble.

Drive mode should not affect the HVBJB issue. DCFC, speed, long inclines, and WOT acceleration are the big contributors to a failure. ??

Joey Hand and The Dinger were up there mixing it up in the top 5/top 10 all day. Joey was driving for a back-marker team, so that shows how good he is. Dinger is… Dinger. Local to me so I got to watch him get to IndyCar. ??

Then I should be good, I am an older woman, only charge at home 110, don't drive fast (I live in Miami, roads are clogged, how can I go fast., can barely move in traffic), no inclines in Miami other than the overpass on highway, and WOT.. well there was this one time at a traffice light, there was a ferrari in next lane... I smoked him until I reached the speed limit!

WOT is not a thing for me. I've got a 2011 MX5 equipped with an 6.2 LS3 for that!

Thank you. That adds a little bit of hope. at least I know this time I will be getting the updated part and I can continue my side job of being the HVBJB tester for For

I dropped off the car today with the dealer and they seemed very knowledgeable and ready to work on the car again. I did ask for pictures of the part number on the old one if they can see it.

I feel bad hijacking this thread. What do you guys think, should I just start a separate thread or keep the updates coming g on this one?
Any update? Very curious if you did have the -B HVBJB and it still failed.

Does anyone think that the Ford Engineers knew all along that there was an issue with the HVBJB and therfore implemented the 5 second rule?? Do I give them too much credit?

No, the HVBJB issue was first identified in the field by MME customers, long after the 5 second limit was established.

I'd also say that Todd's experience isn't the norm post-recall when there's a failure. Generally the car is still drivable. If I knew then what the recall failure mode was for the Service Vehicle Soon DTC, I would not have been as paniced. Yes it is a pain in the butt, and it is a worry on a road trip, but the prices of cars are so insane today (and for cars that are also relatively new with teething issues) that it might make more sense to try and make it fail to get the replacement. Or drive it like you should and know that it's probably not going to be as bad an outcome if you do suffer a failure.
I suspect for the GTs, it's not a matter of if, but when for these to fail. Mine failed last evening just driving about 50 in some traffic, flat road, not too hot and not doing WOT. This has to be costing Ford a lot considering the volume and cost of labor.

And the bad publicity and say they have to recall an important part that could brick your car.. they just don’t want to admit it with that full recall of that part.
