Wow this news definitely puts things into perspective.

I put a $1k deposit down and signed an agreement for a $10k ADM on a '22 Premium AWD ER Battery about a month ago (released customer order) that I got a call about yesterday that should be here in September.

Looking at the numbers, MSRP was $58,575 + $10k ADM = $68,575 (not including tax, title, license) then I get the $7500 tax credit this year still, effectively putting the car at $61,075. Looks like the exact car in 2023 would cost me $66,275 so I'm still coming out ahead even with the ADM. Imagine if I could've found a dealer to sell it to me at MSRP!!!

Now just need to pray I don't get screwed around with by the dealer and the deal falls through LOL.

Well, I'm queuing up for an Ice Blue Select. Co-Pilot/BlueCruise is a must have for me. Depends on how much is the subscription, I might be out.

This is wild, I am glad I got my Mach-E when I did. I wonder if prices will go down in a year or two when the chip shortage eventually clears up. I can't see them keeping the higher prices if they need to stay competitive with others on the market.
If the market goes sideways or the $7,500 tax credit goes away in 2023 and drives demand down, most likely Ford will offer incentives instead of mess with the MSRP. It makes sense from a branding perspective for the new Model e company for Ford to establish their vehicles as luxury with pricing to match.

I’m somewhat surprised they didn’t toss some token new functionality into the vehicle for these kind of price increases. You know, maybe something easy, like seats with more adjustments, or even just a remote frunk release ?

But let’s say the dealership adds 10k to the MSRP of a premium extended range. At $75k, that will definitely drive down demand. At these prices, they’re already so inflated, I find it hard to believe that a dealership can tack on another $10k and be able to find a buyer.
But what you're missing is that there are people who will continue to pay the ADM because they want one NOW, and won't wait # of months for an order. The only element that would drive down demand is the absence or reduction of a tax credit / rebate.

I think the lack of heated seats and Steering wheel in the Select will be an issue if I read the order guide properly? I didn't notice if the order guide is for both USA & Canada. I had a 2021 Select with Comfort/Tech package and loved the heated seats and wheel.

2022 MSRP vs 2023 MSRP ADJUSTMENTS

Looks like the 2023 will keep with Sync 4A instead of Android Automotive like originally planned. Guess that's going to be in the 2024 model now?

They did. MY23 will have two key fobs.

Ford never mentioned MY2023 launching with Android OS as a replacement to Sync 4A. It was speculated that the change would be made in 2023. When? Only Ford does - and I'm sure they actually don't LMAO.

Just like the LFP batteries - Ford mentioned they'll begin adding to their assembly process in 2023, which loosely translates the LFP batteries won't be seen until MY2024 Job 1 or Job 2.

This seems to suggest the top EPA range of the Mach-E will be going down. No more 314 mile range option. Though FWIW the AWD version of CR1 supposedly has a 312 mile EPA range if I remember correctly?
The GOM for my CR1 AWD has been up to 326 (caveats about weather and driving, of course).

Damn... I missed that. I don't know how Ford is going to sell the new Select, without heated seat, in Canada

I just talked to someone from Morgan Hill FORD and he said they wont be taking order until 8.29.22.

Anyone know what's the range difference between a standard and extend range on a Premium?
